1-Est ce qu une MAJ est importante?
2-quelqu'un peut il expliquer à un néophyte la procédure? Est ec qu un neophyte peut la faire de toute façon?

1: les mises à jours sont TOUJOURS importantes (regarde les changelogs pour savoir ce qu'apporte les MaJ)

2: Expliquer ??? pas moi, c'est pas mon coeur de métier, même si j'ai put le faire par le passé (avec pleins de tests, de serveurs de secours, ...)
Il y a de nombreux sites (souvent en Anglais) qui explique comment le faire ou avec des aides (j'ai demandé à un ancien collègues webmestre quand on m'a refilé le bébé içi, il m'a répondu "je viens de passer 3 jours sur un autre forum pour des amis, la je part m'occuper de mes moutrons")

Je ne sais plus (et pas trouvé en recherche rapide) si la numérotation est similaire à du Nux. (impair= version de développement/ bétà | Pair = version stable)
Mais en gros premier chiffre version majeure, second chiffre branche (Dev / Stable), dernier chiffre révision
la 3.1.18 est la dernière de la branche 3.0 / 3.1
il y a la branche 3.2 et la 3.3 maintenant
avant de migrer au dela de la 3.1.18 il faut vérifier que tous les composants du sites sont compatibles (sinon vous allez causer plus de soucis que de solution)
c'est tout ce qui me passe à l'esprit pour le moment
