De l'image véhiculée par le style de Campbell et de la bienveillance qu'on voudrait lui appliquer.
Avec commentaire de Mark Brooks.
Merci à Axl Reznor pour la trouvaille.

Don’t do this.

Bottomline- it’s super passive aggressive and a stupid attempt to gain clout and brownie points from angry people. If you really think this is that bad, you should work your ass off drawing 12 hours a day while eating ramen noodles and working a regular job for low wages so you have time to draw, get small low paying gigs as you get better while cultivating a social media following, and finally produce work for the big companies while also producing well loved creator owned work. Do all that while sticking to your own idea of physical aesthetics as a small portion of your audience throws rocks at you.

But whatever you do, don’t take the artwork of successful artists that’ve done all that stuff you’re too lazy to do and then try to piggyback off their hard work by “fixing it/fucking it up” in order to get your social media jollies. It doesn’t make you the savior of comics nor does it make you some edgelord with their finger on the pulse on the industry. It makes you look exact how this looks. It makes you an asshole.
