Citation:
– Alien Books: “The Valiants,” a prelude to the publisher’s upcoming flagship series starring the Valiant Universe’s characters.

– DC Comics: The Distinguished Competition’s first two top-secret titles will highlight their middle-grade and young adult graphic novels, while the third will spotlight… MAD Magazine.

– Gemstone Publishing: “Romeo vs. Juliet: A Kill Shakespeare Adventure.” This is a spin-off of Anthony Del Col, Conor McCreery and Andy Belanger’s series, starring all of the Bard’s characters, that was originally released by IDW Publishing from 2010 to 2017.

– Graphix: “Unico Awakening,” a preview of Samuel Sattin and Gurihiru’s reimagining of the Osamu Tezuka manga, which begins August 6, 2024.

– Mad Cave Studios: “Gatchaman” and “Flash Gordon” #0, setting up the publisher’s upcoming reboots, respectively created by Cullen Bunn & Chris Batista, and Jeremy Adams, and beginning in June and July.

– Marvel: “Marvel’s Voices,” “Spidey And His Amazing Friends,” and “Star Wars.” It is unknown if any of these will feature new stories.

– Massive Publishing: “Eye Lie Popeye,” a print edition of Marcus Williams’s manga-inspired take on E. C. Segar’s sailor, which was originally released exclusively on ComicBook.com.

– “Conan: Battle of the Black Stone.” Written by Jim Zub with art by Jonas Scharf, the book sets up a late summer/fall event, with Conan the Barbarian becoming “haunted by shadows, a nightmare of events glimpsed beneath dark waters of the past. The unspeakable evil foretold by Thulsa Doom looms over the Hyborian Age and every age connected to it… and it will take more than a Barbarian-King to stop its relentless march upon time, space, and sanity.”

– “Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor.” Written by Dan Watters (“Loki,” “Lucifer,” “Home Sick Pilots”), the title marks the comic book debut of Ncuti Gatwa’s incoming Time Lord, as well as his companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), and will lead into a new monthly print series.

– Tokyopop: “Far Cry: Cull the Herd,” a tie-in to Ubisoft’s game series. Previous “Far Cry” comics consist of Dark Horse’s “Rite of Passage,” and Ablaze Publishing’s “Esperanza’s Tears” (both tie-ins to the sixth game.)

– Vault Comics: “Dying Inside,” a preview of Hannah Klein, Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy fame), and Lisa Sterle’s upcoming graphic novel. All that is known about the book is that it follows a music-loving teenage girl.
