The series will follow one of the best soldiers in the galaxy, Satta Flynn, in an era where war is privatized for the entertainment of the world, with armies treated like sports teams, backed with the funding of supercorporations. ça vaut le coup d'attendre

c est plus Ivan Brandon qui me fait peur.... Drifter se perd un peu... ou n avance pas (en vf)

J'ai lâché Drifter en VO à la fin du premier arc. C'est mal écrit.

J ai acheté les deux 1ers tomes mais j arrete.. c est joli mais...
et c est là que j ai un peu peur pour ce titre.. c est joli aussi mais.. si c est aussi vide..

Brandon, j'ai du mal.
A voir en vf selon les échos.

J'aime bien le pitch, mais vous me faites bien peur :o

Superstar artist Esad Ribic (Secret Wars, Uncanny X-Force) will make his creator-owned debut, teaming up with acclaimed writer Ivan Brandon (BLACK CLOUD, DRIFTER) for the darkly satirical sci-fi series VS this February from Image Comics. Painted colors from Nic Klein (DRIFTER) and design by Tom Muller round out the powerhouse creative team.

War has become a spectator sport.

Privately funded armies of superstar soldiers march into battle for fame, profit, and the glory of their sponsor nations. When a new generation of soldiers arrive, top gladiator Satta Flynn is about to discover how fleeting the limelight can be—and how punishing.

“Making VS is a dream,” said Ribic. “After all these years, it feels great to be able to create my own world and tech from scratch.”

“Working with Esad is mindblowing,” added Brandon. “I want to live in this world. Probably very briefly, as it’s incredibly dangerous.”

VS #1, Cover A (Diamond code: DEC170585) by Esad Ribic and Cover B (Diamond code: DEC170586) by Esad Ribic and Tom Muller, hits comic book stores Wednesday, February 7th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, January 15th.
