En même temps il n'y a pas de raison si c'est des bleds paumés au contraire il n'y a pas de concurrence de comics-shops.

Walmart fonctionne comme Morisson's en Angleterre.. si l'enseigne n'a pas besoin d'avoir une superficie de bâtiment énorme (coût du loyer), les clients commandent (pré-commande) sur catalogue tout ce qu'ils veulent en sus de l'ordinaire (on n'avait pas Prisunic ou G20 qui avait tenté l'expérience avant qu'ils ne coulent/ soient rachetés ? )

Pas mal de titres indes débutent forts.. scarlet witch pas mal.transformers et aaron vendent.

Oui je pense que c'est dans les grandes villes, dans les bleds paumés où j'étais il n'y avait rien du tout. Impossible de trouver un comics à se mettre sous la dent.

Heureusement que j'étais passé chez Mile High Comics avant mon roadtrip

plus que le rang ... c'est le nombre d'exemplaires vendus qu'il faudrait voir...

Il me semble que Flash était plus haut de l'époque Williamson puis Adams ...

Je suis content que les Ultimate X-Men de Momoko soient encore dans le top 10.
Mais bon, je ne me fais pas d'illusions: chez les Big 2, c'est le titre sur la couverture qui vend, pas le contenu.

Cela dit, X-Force qui fait un moins bon démarrage que Phoenix et NYX me fait peut-être mentir. X-Force, quoi! C'est d'habitude un des titres X les plus vendeurs.
(Bon, apparemment, il est sorti le 31 juillet: ceci explique peut-être cela).

Les mutants reprennent leurs droits en tête des charts (mais bon on est qu aux 1 voire au 2). Ultilmate et Batman tiennent bon. J ai l impression que Spidey décroche.

Absolute Power #2 climbed from the number 15 spot to the number 7 spot. This is what I expected from this four-issue big event. Absolute Power’s debut issue got caught up in an odd shipping schedule for the June 2024 and July 2024 rankings. I would expect Absolute Power to remain a Top 10 seller. Absolute Power Task Force VII #4 climbed from the number 98 spot to the number 62 spot. Absolute Power Task Force VII #5 then fell to the number 107 spot. Absolute Power Origins #2 fell from the number 88 spot to the number 130 spot. This three-issue mini-series has been a total sales failure. Everyone outside of a DC editor knew this was going to happen. John Ridley is a Hollywood guy who has never had sales success in mainstream superhero comics. And this title centers on Amanda Waller who is just not as popular as DC Comics thinks she is. Obviously, this mini-series will conclude well into the Dead Titles Walking category.

Alors certes ca fera un long run en tout et un gain asuré pour Marvel. Mais je pense que le titre serait mieux classé sans ces artifices et que donc sur la longueur ca aurait ete mieux...

One needs to only look over at Image Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, and IDW Publishing to see how properties from the 1960s-1990s can perform well in the Top 200. Having said that, I am not surprised that the two Power Rangers titles are dead titles walking. The farther BOOM! Studios gets away from the classic Power Rangers and the more “modern” their take on the Power Rangers gets the less popular it will become. Power Rangers: Infinity #1 failing to even debut in the Top 200 is a total disaster. This is no surprise as this comic looked as cringe as possible. BOOM! Studios took fourth place with seven new comics in the Top 200 in August 2024. Bon je relativiserai tout en disant que le TOP 100 est surtout historiquement un plancher pour Marvel.
DC laissait certains titres dont vertigo presque au porte du top 200 et pour les indés.. j ai jamais connu le plancher.

Coté Marvel Namor doit etre une deception.. Chez DC Green Arrow ne decolle pas malgré Absolute Power.. Flash..

DC Horror Presents Creature Commandos #1 scored an embarrassingly awful debut with the number 200 spot. This six-issue limited series is almost a lock to be unranked with just the second issue. David Dastmalchian is the writer for this mini-series. While Dastmalchian is an excellent actor, what he is not is a mainstream superhero comic book writer. Once again, the weird obsession that both DC Comics and Marvel Comics have for hiring Hollywood talent to write comics completely blows up in DC Comics’ face.

Venom War #3 fell from the number 18 spot to the number 62 spot. It is tough when a title ships two issues in the same sales period. I expect Venom War #4 to rebound into the Top 50 next month. Venom War: Wolverine #1 debuted poorly at the number 55 spot. This three-issue limited series is going to have to fight to stay in the Top 75. Venom War: Deadpool #1 had an awful debut taking the number 88 spot. This three-issue mini-series had a tough road ahead to finish outside the Dead Titles Walking category. Venom War: Spider-Man #2 plummeted from the number 45 spot to the number 89 spot. This is not a surprise given the weak debut number. Jackson Lanzig and Collin Kelly have yet another sales failure despite being paired up with the human ATM known as Peter Parker. Venom War: Spider-Man #3 crashed and burned falling from the number 89 spot to the number 177 spot. No doubt that it is tough shipping two issues in the same sale period, but Venom War: Spider-Man is a lock to conclude in the Dead Titles Walking category with the fourth and final issue. Venom War: Carnage #2 dropped from the number 73 spot to the number 132 spot. Given the bad debut number, I figured that this would happen. Torunn Grømbekk failed to get readers excited about this Venom War tie-in mini-series. This title is a lock to finish in the Dead Titles Walking category. Venom War: Venomous #2 fell from the number 88 spot to the number 133 spot. Erica Schultz continues to have no sales success. Readers certainly were not enticed by the prospect of a Venomized Black Widow. This three-issue mini-series will conclude as a Dead Title Walking. Venom War: Lethal Protectors #1 had a brutal debut at the number 150 spot. Wow. We all saw this coming. Sabir Pirzada is the writer and has never had any sales success. Once again, hiring a Hollywood screenwriter to pen a mainstream superhero comic book blows up in Marvel Comics’ face. Yet, like a mindless idiot, Marvel Comics editorial will continue to pull out this same trick in the future. The big question is if this three-issue mini-series will be ranked in the Top 200. Venom War Zombiotes #2 plummeted from the number 126 spot to the number 180 spot. This four-issue mini-series has a good chance of concluding outside the Top 200. Cavan Scott continues his trend of having no sales success. Venom War Daredevil #1 had a godawful debut barely even getting ranked and taking the number 181 spot. What an embarrassing debut. Nobody was interested in Christopher Condon’s one-shot issue. The main Venom War title has been a solid seller. But, the Venom War mini-series have all been unmitigated disasters. The biggest reason for that is due to Marvel Comics hiring an awful collection of writers for the Venom War mini-series. Absolute Power 6 Batman #152 (Absolute Power) 10 Absolute Power #3 (Of 4) 21 Absolute Power #4 (Of 4) 23 Wonder Woman #13 (Absolute Power) 28 Superman #18 (Absolute Power) 54 Green Lantern #15 (Absolute Power) 72 Absolute Power Task Force VII #6 (Of 7) 83 Absolute Power Super Son #1 (One-Shot) 93 Absolute Power Task Force VII #7 (Of 7) 122 Green Arrow #16 (Absolute Power) 152 Absolute Power Origins #3 (Of 3) Absolute Power had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50. This was worse in the Top 10 but flat in the Top 25 and Top 50 compared to August 2024 when Absolute Power had two comics in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50. Absolute Power #3 fell from the number 7 spot to the number 10 spot. Absolute Power #4 fell from the number 10 spot to the number 21 spot. It is embarrassing when the main big event title gets outsold by a tie-in issue. Still, Absolute Power was a good selling big event for DC Comics. It would have been more impressive is all four issues managed to finish in the Top 10. But, slotting two of the four issues in the Top 10 is still a good accomplishment. Absolute Power Task Force VII #6 bounced up from the number 107 spot to the number 72 spot. Absolute Power Task Force VII #7 fell from the number 72 spot to the number 93 spot. This tie-in title was a sales disappointment. But, at least it finished outside of the Dead Titles Walking category. Absolute Power Origins #3 fell from the number 130 spot to the number 152 spot. With this issue, this mini-series concludes. Nobody was interested in an origin story of Amanda Waller from John Ridley. Once again, a Hollywood screenwriter finds no success writing a mainstream superhero comic.

Oni Press tied for eighth place with two new comics in the Top 200 in September 2024. Vault Comics 156 Lilith #1 (Of 5) Unranked: Goobers #1 Unranked: Something Crawled Out #2 Vault Comics had three dead titles walking out of Vault Comics’ three new titles in September 2024. This means that 100% of the new Vault Comics titles in September 2024 were dead titles walking. Vault Comics came in tenth place with one new comic in the Top 200 in September 2024.

Venom War: Wolverine #2 fell from the number 55 spot to the number 79 spot. This three-issue limited series is going to struggle to conclude in the Top 100. Venom War: Deadpool #2 ticked down from the number 88 spot to the number 89 spot. This three-issue limited series had a brutal debut, but what was impressive is that there was no drop in sales for the second issue. This title might be able to conclude in the Top 100. Venom War: Venomous #3 climbed from the number 132 spot to the number 94 spot. With this issue, this mini-series concludes. Erica Schultz delivered a sales failure with this mini-series. Venom War: Lethal Protectors #2 climbed from the number 150 spot to the number 121 spot. This three-issue mini-series is a lock to conclude in the Dead Titles Walking category. Hollywood screenwriter Sabir Prizada continues to have no sales success with his comics. Venom War: Carnage #3 ticked up from the number 132 spot to the number 122 spot. This three-issue mini-series is certainly going to finish in the Dead Titles Walking category. Venom War: Fantastic Four #1 had a brutal debut coming in at the number 150 spot. Very few people were interested in checking out Adam Warren’s story in this title. Venom War: Zombiotes #3 ticked up from the number 180 spot to the number 164 spot. This four-issue mini-series from Cavan Scott has been in the Dead Titles Walking category with each issue. That should remain the same for the final issue next month. All of the Venom War tie-in mini-series have been epic sales failures. The biggest reason is the poor selection of writers that Marvel Comics rolled out for these titles. Conquest 2099 93 Conquest 2099 #1 140 Conquest 2099 #2 Conquest 2099 had zero comics in the Top 50. Conquest #1 had a brutal debut coming in at the number 93 spot. Conquest 2099 #2 then fell from the number 93 spot to the number 140 spot. This five-issue mini-series is dead on arrival. Steve Orlando failed to get anyone excited about this story. I had a feeling this would happen. Orlando never has any sales success and his stories can be too cringe-fueled at times.

Venom war je trouve les commentaires un peu trop mauvais. Ca n est certes pas un succés mais ce tait pas non plus calibré pour etre dans le top 10 a mon avis. C est pas un event à l echelle de l editeur.. Mais bon c est aussi clair que ca na pas fonctionné. Pas de sursaut de ventes déjà pour venom.. les ties ins se sont pas vendus.. reste l a vente extra de la mini elle même mais bon ca reste un echec.

Bon hasbro a toujours une franchise qui fonctionne. Image doit se féliciter d avoir acceuilli Kirkman qui leur aura apporté du cash sur la longueur.
Ghost Machine n est pas à son niveau mais bin a celui de reussite aussi..

Image Comics seems to be able to do no wrong with their GI Joe mini-series so far. Destro #5 ticked up from the number 37 spot to the number 33 spot. This brings this five-issue mini-series to a conclusion. Once again, Image Comics enjoyed another sales success with a GI Joe title. The GI Joe franchise does not show any signs of cooling off anytime soon. Void Rivals #13 climbed from the number 67 spot to the number 37 spot. This was a great rebound for this title. We normally see Void Rivals in the 30-40 range in the sales rankings. So, normalcy has returned. Spawn Franchise 81 Gunslinger Spawn #36 105 Spawn Scorched #34 112 Spawn Violator #2 (Of 6) 117 Spawn #358 141 Spawn Rat City #7 144 Spawn #357 (Resolicitation) 165 Spawn Sam and Twitch Case Files #7 174 King Spawn #38 (Resolicitation) 185 Spawn Kills Every Spawn #4 (Of 5) The Spawn franchise had zero comics in the Top 50. This was the same as in September 2024, when the Spawn franchise had zero comics in the Top 50. Gunslinger Spawn #36 shot up from the number 108 spot to the number 81 spot. This title returns to where we normally find this title in the sales rankings. Spawn Scorched #34 rocketed from the number 165 spot to the number 105 spot. So close to getting back into the Top 100! Spawn Scorched remains my favorite Spawn title. Spawn Violator #2 fell from the number 85 spot to the number 112 spot. This drop for this six-issue mini-series was expected given the poor debut number. Spawn #358 shot up from the number 188 spot to the number 117 spot. This title is still selling lower than a few issues ago when it was at the number 70 spot. Spawn Rat City #7 climbed from the number 192 spot to the number 141 spot. This title remains doomed to dwell in the Dead Titles Walking category. Spawn Sam and Twitch Case Files #7 climbed from being unranked to the number 165 spot. This title continues to see zero sales success. Spawn Kills Every Spawn #4 climbed from being unranked to the number 185 spot. This five-issue mini-series has been a total sales dud. Ghost Machine Titles 50 Rook Exodus #6 51 Geiger #7 113 Redcoat #7 188 Redcoat #6 (Resolicitation) Ghost Machine had one comic in the Top 50. This was the same as in September 2024, when Ghost Machine had one comic in the Top 50. Rook Exodus #6 dipped from the number 45 spot to the number 50 spot. This title continues to clock in around the number 40-50 spot. Geiger #7 climbed from the number 67 spot to the number 51 spot. This is about where we expect to see this title. Redcoat #7 shot up from the number 142 spot to the number 113 spot. It will be interesting to see if this title can get back to the Top 100 where it had been prior to last month. All in all, Geoff Johns should be quite happy with the sales success of his new imprint. Outside of the Hasbro license, the Ghost Machine titles are the best-selling comics from Image Comics.

Uncanny X-Men #4 ticked up from the number 8 spot to the number 4 spot. This is so impressive. Uncanny X-Men continues to be the most valuable brand name in comics. I am convinced that Marvel Comics could hire one of my pugs to write Uncanny X-Men and the power of this brand would continue to generate Top 10 success. X-Men #6 ticked up from the number 17 spot to the number 11 spot. Marvel Comics just missed out on placing two X-Men team titles in the Top 10. Insane. Exceptional X-Men #2 fell from the number 4 spot to the number 13 spot. I fully expect to see this title continue to slide down the sales rankings. X-Force #4 climbed from the number 51 spot to the number 32 spot. This is phenomenal. X-Force #1 debuted at the number 10 spot and then suffered a massive drop as X-Force #2 fell to the number 50 spot. However, X-Force #3 arrested that fall by taking the number 51 spot. And now we have X-Force #4 climbing back up in the rankings. This is very rare to see in a new comic. Normally, once there is a big sales drop the title either slowly descends and finds its happy place in the rankings or the title continues to crash and burn in the sales rankings. But, to see a title suddenly stop its descent after just one issue and then begin climbing back up in the rankings with just the fourth issue. Wow. Very impressive indeed. Congrats to Geoffrey Thorne. Thorne might be on his way to his first sales success in comics. Sentinels #1 had a pedestrian debut taking the number 39 spot. I am not confident that this five-issue limited series will have any sales success. Alex Paknadel is the writer and he has never had any sales success. X-Factor #3 dipped from the number 41 spot to the number 43 spot. This is a positive sign that this title’s fall in the rankings slowed significantly this month. The next few months will be critical in determining the long-term success of this title. NYX #4 dropped from the number 52 spot to the number 75 spot. No surprise here. I expect this Jackson Lanzig and Collin Kelly title to fall out of the Top 100 in the next few months. Let’s hop over to the bad boys of the X-Men franchise. Wolverine #2 ticked down from the number 1 spot to the number 6 spot. Things are looking wonderful for this new title. Wolverine Revenge – Red Band #3 fell from the number 22 spot to the number 34 spot. This five-issue mini-series is doing well and has an excellent chance of concluding in the Top 50. Wolverine: Revenge #3 fell from the number 57 spot to the number 66 spot. The Red Band version of this title is performing at a much higher rate. Deadpool Team-Up #3 dropped from the number 127 spot to the number 130 spot. This five-issue mini-series continues to underperform. Mystique #1 had a solid but not impressive debut taking the number 26 spot. Failing to make the Top 25 with the debut issue indicates that this five-issue mini-series will drop out of the Top 50 in the next month or two. Phoenix #4 climbed from the number 59 spot to the number 44 spot. I am not expecting this title to remain in the Top 50 next month. Dazzler #2 plummeted from the number 15 spot to the number 65 spot. Ouch. It looks like Jason Loo was unable to convince many readers to stick around for the second issue. Having said that, this four-issue mini-series has a chance of concluding in the Top 100.

Pour les titres mutants ca reste pas mal même si on sent certains titres comme NYX glisser vers la fin. Mais vu le nombre ca reste bien.

Pour avengers Cap remonte depuis 2 mois mais reste hors du top 100. Scarlet witch reveint au dessus et comme prévu Immortal Thor revoit le 16 classé certes en dehors du top 100 mais 2 mois de suite donc au dessus comme prévu. A voir son vrai classement avec le top de novembre.

Je vois que FF est dans le top 50 (36) ca reste bien pour ce titre qui n a pas toujours su se maintenir aussi haut.

Action Comics et Superman sont aussi dans le top 50 ce qui est aussi bien pour un personnage qui n a pas toujours pu y etre.

Pour les titres en danger je ne mets que marvel et DC car les autres editeurs n ont pas la regle du top 100

Chez DC la mode Harley Quinn est bien passée.. Constantine ne vend pas plus intégré à l univers DC qu avant.. mais je pense que les TP ne sont pas au même niveau. Peut etre que Vertigo étant de retour.
Jenny SParks ne fonctionne pas mais il me semble qu human target ou dangers street n etaient pas haut. Je suppose que King vend sur le marché du TP lui aussi en librairie classique (où on a pas de chiffres)
