	Tom King’s Wonder Woman is getting a spinoff miniseries — but not from he and Daniel Sampere’s main story, in which Wonder Woman is battling the secret king of America, grieving the late Steve Trevor, and raising their infant daughter that she made out of clay. No, Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman, written by King and drawn by Belén Ortega, will expand on the lore of Wonder Woman’s all-ages friendly backup stories, in which Wonder Woman’s daughter gets into comedic hijinks. King and Sampere’s Wonder Woman introduced Wonder Woman’s future daughter and successor, Lizzie Prince (superhero name: Trinity), as a framing device. The whole book is a story told to an adult Lizzie by the imprisoned and deposed Sovereign, the former king of America, about how her mother defeated him. Lizzie’s parentage, her origin, how she manages to wield not one but three lassos of fate, and why she desperately needs to hear the Sovereign’s secrets are mysteries that King and Sampere are still parceling out the answers to. But after the serious drama of the main story, King, Sampere, and Ortega have given readers comedic insights into Lizzie’s childhood, growing up alongside the sons of her mother’s friends: Robin (Damian Wayne) and Superman (Clark Kent’s son, Jon). Jon and Damian have told her bedtime stories, taken her to her first concert (Black Canary), and taught her how to fly a kite (or at least kidnapped Kite Man to do it). Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman looks to continue the tone of those stories — in which Lizzie, for example, has had to rescue the boys from the dire fate of being transformed into cute corgis wearing corgi versions of their costumes and having corgi versions of their powers — but with an all-Lizzie cast. In new six-issue minseries, Lizzie seems to be ditching Jon and Damian for what looks a lot like two other versions of herself, via time travel, and embarking on a quest to find her father, who died before she was born.
