The debut issue features a main cover by series artist Fornés, with variant covers spotlighting characters featured in both Danger Street and the original DC 1st Issue Special series. The main variant cover is drawn by comics icon Steve Rude, with a 1-in-25 ratio variant by Lee Weeks, plus a 1-in-50 ratio variant from Ben Oliver. Fate, Atlas, Creeper, Green Team, ... Si je comprends bien King fait une série avec tous les persos apparus dans 1st Issue Special.

Cryptique, intriguant, aux multiples sub-plots, et pourtant ça marche.
Dès la première page et l'apparition du narrateur ça prend, ensuite si on a compris pourquoi ces personnages sont ensemble (hint hint post du dessus) ça colle.
Des B-listers pour la plupart, voire des inconnus pour certains, il faut tout de même un peu de background pour identifier certains persos, et je pense que la faiblesse de ce titre sera là, c'est pas pour tous les publics. Ou pas... peut-être que le récit se tiendra sur lui-même, et fera son job de mettre les persos en valeur même pour ceux qui les découvrent.
Sur le format, désolé qu'on n'ait pas la qualité de papier comme sur Gotham City Year One, c'est pauvre pour du Black Label.
