Surpris de ne pas voir de titre Bloodshot. Par contre pour le reste miam miam.

Le moins qu'on puisse dire avec les nouvelles séries est que Valiant fait vraiment l'effort d'être new reader friendly.

Je ne me suis jamais intéressé à cet univers mais quand je vois la présence d'Adam Pollina....


Les copains, vous auriez des conseils à me donner pr attaquer cet univers ?

Il y a les séries de l'univers partagé et d'autres qui sont indépendantes.

Si tu veux lire du Valiant Universe tu peux attaquer par The Valiant et ensuite Bloodshot Reborn. La première série Archer & Armstrong par Fred Van Lente donne aussi de très bonnes bases pour explorer cet univers.

Pour des choses indépendantes il y a les minis Britannia ou ici The Killers qui débute.

Et surtout le cycle de Joshua Dysart avec Harbinger puis Imperium et enfin Life and Death of Toyo Harada.

Dans un style la première série de X-O Manowar est assez indépendante.

Oui a ce qu'à cité Arrowsmith, je ne voulais pas trop en mettre.

Par contre je ne trouve pas que la première série X-O est indépendante, c'est là qu'on a les premières apparitions de Ninjak ou Eternal Warrior. Et Unity qui se forme en spin-off à l'ongoing.

Je rajouterai que l'univers Valiant est cimenté de par sa ligne temporelle.
De l'ère mésopotamienne au futur proche et lointain, certains personnages font le lien. Les frères Anni-Padda en premier lieu, avec un immortel, un qui a des milliers de vies et un time-walker, permettent cette exploration.
Ensuite la technologie des nanites, qui lie Bloodshot à Rai, en passant par le vil Dr Silk et ses clones qui le font traverser les époques.
On pourrait citer aussi les Vines qui ont implanté des taupes dans l'humanité depuis l'antiquité.
Tout ça pour dire qu'au delà d'un univers partagé, je parlerai plus d'une ligne temporelle partagée.
