	David Faber of CNBC has the word. Fox has been in talks with Disney to sell most of the company, leaving Fox with just their news and sports divisions. Obviously, this means massive things for media hegemony, monopolies and the shape of the country, nay, the world going forward. But the really, really important thing is that, if this goes ahead, Marvel Comics might be allowed to publish a Fantastic Four comic again. The Fantastic Four comics were cancelled after a series of disasterous meetings between Marvel and Fox regarding their licensing of the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies. Whereas Sony were more malleable leading to the Spider-Man Homecoming movie, Fox was instransient, leading to, well, the Fantastic Four movie. Marvel Comics seniuor executives cancelled their Fantastic Four comics as a result, as well as all licensing, games, toys, posters, trading cards, merchandise and the like. And they cancelled lots of X-Men licensing as well. But if Marvel’s owners Disney bought Fox, they could sort it all out a lot easier. And Marvel Comics would be allowed to publish Fantastic Four comic books again. And Marvel Studios could make Fantastic Four, X-Men and Deadpool movies and introduce them into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And there need only be one Quicksilver. Then no one need speak of the Inhumans again… We may of course be getting ahead of ourselves. Faber says that the talks have taken place over the last few weeks and there is no certainty they will lead to a deal. And that while the two sides are not currently talking at this very moment, they could be revisited.
