GROO the Wanderer #16, June 1986, Epic
"Groo and the Shipyard"
Sergio Aragones : Dessin / Mark Evanier: "Banderillero"/ Tom Luth : Coloriste / Stan Sakai Lettreur
"Whole cities rock- In total shock-
The citizen all frown-
The people pray- He will not stay-
When Groo comes into town.
The folks all fear- This privateer-
This jinx of great reknown-
He slays the hordes- With mighty swords-
When Groo comes into town.
Within a wink- The ships all sink-
The sailors on them drown-
The villains fret- Their victims sweat-
When Groo comes into town.
They watch as he- Slays carelessly-
And burns their village down-
The people grieve- And hope he'll leave-
When Groo comes into town."
Moral:"Trust only in incompetence. You will never be disappointed."
Synopsis : Pour se faire embaucher comme garde sur un chantier de construction de navire "montgolfière", Groo tente de commettre lui même des effractions la nuit venue. Ca ne marche évidemment pas et encore moins quand Taranto arrive...
