Buffy Faces an Identity Crisis in THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #7

Discover What it Takes for a Former Slayer to Save Another Slayer in October 2022

BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #7, the next issue of the new comic book series from the universe of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. From the creative team of award-winning author Sarah Gailey (Eat The Rich, Magic for Liars), artist Sonia Liao (A Thief Among The Trees), colorists Valentina Pinto and Riccardo Giardina, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, comes a new era for the Chosen One as she faces an impossible choice and a danger so powerful it threatens the lives of everyone and everything she holds dear in October 2022.

How does Buffy go on with her memory in shambles–without her purpose? It keeps her up at night, the powerlessness and the jealousy… but nonetheless, she’s soon thrust into a monstrous battle, as a dark creature with an appetite for Slayers still thinks Buffy is the real thing! Will Willow be able to help in time, or will Buffy find herself alone and in the clutches of a terrifying evil?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on March 10th, 1997. The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated series ran for seven seasons from 1997-2003. Chosen to battle vampires, demons and other forces of darkness, Buffy is aided by a Watcher who guides and teaches her as she surrounds herself with a circle of friends.

THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #7 features main and variant cover art by acclaimed illustrator Ario Anindito (Magic: The Hidden Planeswalker) and variant cover art by fan favorite artists Junggeun Yoon (Vampirella Strikes) and Stephanie Pepper (RWBY / Justice League)
