Marvel has announced several discount incentives for retailers to raise theie orders for Marvel Comics #1000. This 96-page one-shot is one Editor-In-Chief C.B. Cebulski has publicly hoped will sell over 1 million copies.
"The last comic to sell a million copies was Star Wars #1. Which was almost five years ago. I feel it's about time we publish another title that sells over seven figures. And I think I have an idea..." Cebulski said cryptically on his personal Twitter back on May 3.
Retailers can receive up to a 15% discount on Marvel Comics #1000 if they order more than they did War of the Realms #6. The scale of the discount is determined by the amount ordere - 15% if they order double, 10% if they order 75% more, or 5% if they order 50% more.
The deadline for retailers to place their initial orders of Marvel Comics #1000 is July 15, with a scheduled on-sale date of August 28. |
