DC Comics has re-scheduled the release of Doomsday Clock #6 once again, moving it back to its originally-solicited date of July 18. Back on May 1, DC revised the release date of the issue to August 29, but the publisher has seemingly resolved the issue necessitating that delay.
A similiar series of schedule changes also befell Doomsday Clock #5, with series writer Geoff Johns saying at the time that he and artist Gary Frank were "working diligently to deliver a thought-provoking and beautifully drawn series that’s unlike anything else on the shelves today.
"It’s incredibly important to us to keep up the quality of Doomsday Clock, but also to deliver it on the bimonthly schedule and we intend to keep our word," Johns continued. "Issue #5 will begin the countdown for the DC Universe as the worlds of the Watchmen and DC collide full-on. Expect to see characters known and obscure step into the spotlight. And the strangest team-up you’ve ever seen."
DC has not given a reason for the somewhat oscillating schedule of these issues. |
