“For me, Batman was the gateway to comics,” said Fraction. “This series is our chance to celebrate everything that makes the character great—from new characters to classic villains, from iconic vehicles to updated suits.”

Jiménez, thrilled to lead the charge as the series artist, added: “This is a dream project. I’ve poured everything into shaping a new visual language for Batman—bringing back the blue suit in a way that feels iconic but new, and giving Gotham a slight pop art flair while maintaining its gritty edge.”

Fraction summed it up best: “Batman endures because he can be so many things to so many people. We want this run to reflect that.”

Launching September 10, 2025, DC Comics is putting a modern, all-ages twist on the legends of Camelot with C.O.R.T.: Children of the Round Table, a brand-new six-issue series from bestselling writer Tom Taylor (Nightwing, Dark Knights of Steel, Seven Secrets) and acclaimed artist Daniele Di Nicuolo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Seven Secrets). They’re joined by colorist Rain Beredo and letterer Wes Abbott to bring this magical original story to life.

The legend goes like this: For centuries, the mysterious Camelot Corps has stood guard, waiting for a time when ancient myths would be needed once again. That time is now.

“I’ve had this idea in my head for years,” said Taylor. “A new generation of young heroes stepping into the legacy of Arthur and his knights. I’m so excited to finally bring them to life with Daniele and the incredible team at DC.”

Artist Daniele Di Nicuolo added, “This series is something really special. It’s a first for DC in many ways, and I can’t wait for readers of all ages to meet these bold, funny, and brave new champions.”

scarletneedle 20/06/2025 17h37
