Marvel has released a cover reveal and lettered preview for Jonathan Hickman and Valerio Schiti’s highly anticiapted G.O.D.S. #1, which goes on sale October 14.
“Except for Doctor Strange (who’s in the first few issues), and some cameos by Marvel regulars, nothing I say here is going to help anyone understand these concepts and characters because they’re new. And the book is kind of out there,” Hickman told ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview. “The good news is that the first issue is 55 pages long, and by the end of that issue, you’ll have a solid idea of what the book is all about.”

Bon par contre Hickman parle de 55 pages. Marvel va nous le faire à combien ?

Perso, je trouve l'annonce putassière, genre "vous allez être trop cons pour comprendre quoi que ce soit..." ! J'ai lâché tous les titres X à l'annonce de son départ et je n'ai plus envie de le lire sur d'autres projets. J'ai aimé ses précédents travaux mais maintenant, Hickman me rebute.

Je comprends plutôt qu'une nouvelle fois Hickman a du mal à établir un concept clair, qui peut se comprendre en quelques pages, sans nécessairement déployer des pages et des pages cryptiques. Après, je dis ça, j'ai pas lu ces fameuses 55 pages qu'il faudra lire intégralement pour saisir l'idée, peut-être que ça sera plus accessible que ce qu'il prétend.

Après ça reste de la com un peu pourrie : ses avengers, x men etc sont pitchables en deux phrases

Dans le pitch certainement, dans la démonstration beaucoup moins, du moins dans ce que j'ai pu lire de lui. Ca n'en reste pas moins globalement très intéressant, mais bon dieu l'habillage est généralement laborieux et pompeux, c'est dommage.

J'aimais bien Hickman à la base mais avec la reprise de la franchise X j'avoue qu'il m'a perdu.
des scénars trop complexes je pense n'aide pas à attirer un jeune lectorat sur des grosses franchises...
Donc Hickman désolé mais maintenant c'est sans moi...

J'ai pas trouvé HOXPOX si complexe, ni ses X-Men (parfois laborieux certes mais bien plus accessible que du Morrison par exemple). Après je comprends qu'on puisse ne pas adhérer hein ;)

non mais complexe dans le sens où moi si j'avais 10ans je n'aurais rien compris lol alors qu'à l'époque où j'avais cet âge-là les aventures des X-men ( puisqu'on parle des X-men) me semblaient plus simples et compréhensibles. et c'est vrai que Morrison est un peu dans cette lignée là ( mais heureusement pour lui il etait bien accompagné niveau dessin )

Ah non si tu comptes les pages blanches avec graphiques ou textes tu passes à 120 pages ;)

En tout cas, Dr Doom regarde encore Reed Richards de travers!

Avec son masque, qui nous dit qu'il ne lui fait pas aussi des grimaces en cachette?
