Writer Tom King joins forces with artist Jorge Fornés to explore the mythic qualities of one of the most compelling characters from the bestselling graphic novel of all time, Watchmen.

Rorschach #1, by Tom King, Jorge Fornés, Dave Stewart and Clayton Cowles, will publish on October 13, 2020, and carry DC’s Black Label descriptor, identifying the content as appropriate for readers ages 17+. The book will retail for $4.99 with card stock cover artwork by Fornés and a variant cover by Jae Lee.

Avec Tom King, c'est 1 chance sur 2, soit celui de Miracle Man, soit celui de Heroes in Crisis.

Mais je suis curieux et Alan Moore n'est pas une idole intouchable pour moi. Donc j'irais voir pour me faire mon avis. :huhu:

Je te rejoins, je n'ai aucun souci avec le fait de poursuivre avec l'univers de Watchmen... mais avec Tom KING, on peut effectivement s'interroger sur ce qu'on va avoir. Dans tous les cas, on peut commencer par saluer cette couverture, plutôt audacieuse dans le parti pris graphique adopté.

Il y a une partie du lettrage sur la cover qui fait directement penser à la police de caractère Bauhaus.
Je me demande si c'est un hasard ou si c'est un clin d'œil à la proximité d'Alan Moore avec plusieurs membres du groupe Bauhaus originaire de Northampton.

En tout cas jusque là c'est très sympa graphiquement, c'est déjà ça !

King semble en tout cas ne pas avoir ici osé l'utilisation systématique du gaufrier.

Oui, peut-être la vraie bonne nouvelle de cette preview.

je testerai sûrement..

(Fornès fait de bons trucs) mais les réutilisations Watchmanesqes sont en général assez ratées ...

King tue déjà le Rorschach de Doomsday Clock ???
