Pour Walking Dead, je trouve ça un peu vache de la part de Bleeding Cool de balancer un truc qui avait été bien préparé visiblement. J'aurais aimé avoir la surprise en tournant la dernière page et voir "The End".

La fin d'une époque...

Il me semble que KIRKMAN a toujours été clair sur ce point: il n'a jamais compté expliquer l'origine de l'épidémie. D'ailleurs, si la série télé a clairement flirté avec l'idée, le comic, lui, n'a jamais tourné autour d'une recherche d'explications.

oui il a même menti a son editeur au départ en disant qu il relierait cela aune invasion alien (car les zombies ne vendent pas)

Je m'étais déjà exprimé dans un thread VO, mais cela fait quand même un moment (93 numéros :p) que Kirkman ne propose plus grand chose d'intéressant sur The Walkind Dead. C'est toujours la même routine avec un personnage qui disparait de temps en temps après l'avoir mis en évidence juste avant. Bref depuis le #100 cette série se lit plus par habitude mais sans la passion du début. Il y a deux pistes que Kirkman aurait pu explorer pour redonner de l'intérêt :
- ce qui se passe dans le reste du monde
- la recherche des origines ou d'un antidote

Par contre je mets à son crédit le fait de ne jamais avoir cédé au sirènes des spin off et séries dérivées. Droit dans ses bottes sur ce coup, :clap:

Cela restera néanmoins une de ses séries qui auront marqué l'histoire des comics (que l'on aime ou pas) , et à l'arrivée elles ne sont finalement pas si nombreuses que cela.

J'y jetterai un oeil. Soule et Snyder, ça m'emballe pas forcément mais le pitch est pas mal, j'aime bien Camo et puis Will Dennis n'est pas le premier venu.

On a connu Image plus présent dans les news. A Dan Diego, il n'y avait que McFarlane pour faire le show avec son Spawn #301.
Quid de la suite de Saga et de tellement d'autres séries? Où sont les auteurs bankable qui veulent tenter l'aventure creator owned?

Bin, le marché des séries tv commence à être saturé aussi et ce n'est pas toujours gage de succès (Deadly Class arrêté au bout d'1 saison)... :beu:
Et pis bon, quitte à commencer un titre, il faut aussi pouvoir promettre une suite ou une fin dans un délai raisonnable :p

Ah oui c'est vrai, il y a de news fraiche avec l'annulation du contrat d'Amazon pour l'adaptation de East of West. :beu:

Mllar revealed to CBR that when the December Image Comics solicitations arrive to retailers this week, the new Millarworld secret sequel will be teased only with wrapping paper an an offer of full returnability for shops that don't sell out their stock.

“We’ve actually rarely done sequels at Millarworld," the writer explained. "Kick-Ass and now Chrononauts, of course, but generally we’ve been laying all the groundwork and only now getting to the big sequels and this is a big one for us. It’s something I’m asked about all the time. Every time I go to a convention. I’ve been really dying to get into it so getting it down on paper is fantastic."

Millar kept his cards very close to the vest when talking about what this project would be aside from the return of more than just characters. "The only clue I can give is that we’ve got the same artist back from the original run and he’s just blown us away with this. I don’t think any comic has ever been solicited so blind, but I love the idea that nobody will know what this comic is until they open their boxes in the stores on the Wednesday before Christmas. The beauty is it’s returnable so there’s no risk on the part of the retailer, and it’s actually just crazy exciting to me going into the store that day cold and finding out what the Hell this is. Comics needs a little shake up like this every now and then. Just thinking outside the box. So this is a little Christmas present for fans. No hype. No teasers. No previews."
