Liam SHARP semble s'amuser dans le style qu'il a développé pour Green Lantern... bon, c'est particulier, mais ça reste du SHARP. Avec ENNIS à la barre, je prendrai forcément. Chez Urban, comme scarlet !

Franchement, le style fait pas du tout envie !! J'aurais préféré Cully Hamner du coup mais bon, encore du Batman, je pense que je n'aurais pas pris, avec l'un ou l'autre.
Pour que je reprenne un titre Batman, il me faudra plus niveau artistique. |
Ça rappelle tous les projets "painted" des 90's (dont un paquet de Batman déjà), avec des artistes plus ou moins doués... à leur décharge, c'était pas du numérique donc même si c'était pas terrible, ça faisait plus "vrai" et on pouvait être indulgent.
Sinon ici on retrouve les forces et faiblesses de Sharp (et depuis toujours): le beau, voir très beau côtoie le moche outrancier de mauvais goût. Un vrai Son of the Biz. So 90's je disais au début... Ça doit être pour ça que je l'aime bien ;-) |
On retrouve quand même l'approche de Sharp quand il dessinait Spawn Dark age.

J'aime bien cette preview. Elle me rappelle des titres des années 80. D'ailleurs, c'est sur des titres comme ça que je préfère Batman.

C'est étrange, j'ai adoré ses planches sur les Batman/Wonder Woman, et les quelques Green Lantern que j'ai vu de lui, mais là Sharp me perd un peu quand même. Cependant, j'aime assez l'énergie qu'il met à se renouveler, explorer d'autres chemins de traverse. C'est pas toujours heureux, mais ça m’interpelle !

J'ai enfin lu ce 1er n° ce matin et il répond à toutes mes attentes. L' ambiance est très très sombre et pour l'instant, la menace est très mystérieuse et effrayante. J'ai hâte de connaitre la suite.
