J'aime ça. J'espère que Bendis va renouer avec l'esprit de ses New Avengers. Green Arrow pourrait être son nouveau Luke Cage, une sorte de conscience morale pour l'équipe, plus qu'un classique leader.

Très heureux aussi de voir Bendis et Marquez à nouveau réunis.

D'après ce que j'en sais, les Avengers d'Aaron ne voient pas leur composition beaucoup bouger : toujours le même noyau dur depuis le début + Blade.

En revanche quand Bendis écrivait New Avengers, la formation a beaucoup bougé après Civil War jusqu'à la fin du volume 1.
J'aime bien quand ça bouge et qu'on ne voit pas les mêmes héros dans une équipe. J'espère même que Bendis finira pas se passer de Superman (quoi que je j'y crois guère vu qu'il l'aime bien) et de Batman (mais aura-t-il cette liberté ?). Déjà, il a écarté Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman est occupée ailleurs. Naomi arrive, Green Arrow et Black Canary reviennent. Black Adam est la surprise du chef. J'aurai bien aimé Mera à la place d'Aquaman, mais bon, j'ai rien contre Arthur.

Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez Take Over As the New Justice League Creative Team on March 16, 2021

In celebration of the highly anticipated feature film ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, DC is revealing a special selection of variant covers to Justice League #59, on sale March 16, 2021. The covers will debut in advance of the film’s premiere on HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Justice League #59 also signals the debut a new League lineup as well as a new creative team, featuring award-winning writer Brian Michael Bendis, with art by fan-favorite artist David Marquez.

These variant covers feature artwork inspired by the film and its characters, and come courtesy of three of comics’ greatest artistic talents – DC Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee, Lee Bermejo (Joker, Batman: Damned) and Liam Sharp (The Green Lantern, The Brave and the Bold: Batman and Wonder Woman).

In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Vu que Xermanico va dessiner Infinite Frontier, je pense qu'il ne faut pas 'attendre à ce qu'il s'éternise en back-up.
Alors soit elle ne durera pas, soit il va y avoir un autre artiste (et peut-être une exfiltration pour redevenir un titre).

En même temps Xermanico va dessiner 10 pages de "JLD" par mois, donc c'est pas non plus un agenda de ministre. J'espère qu'il restera sur ce titre en cumulant ses épisodes de "Infinite Frontier" (qui ne sortiront pas tous les mois, eux).

En revanche, je pense que "JLD" va rester un moment en complèment de programme de "JL" car Bendis a déjà annoncé que lui et Ram V allaient développer un crossover avec les deux équipes.

A priori, Infinite Frontierr sera mensuel (c'est une mini-série), je le vois mal faire 40-45 pages par mois même en ayant de l'avance surtout qu'un tel projet doit bien impliquer une foule de personnages.

Les dialogues en noir et blanc sont drôles.
