S'il pouvait embrayer sur une mini-série Hawkman & Atom, je prends définitivement. :D

Vu qu'il indique que ce n'est pas que pour Hawkman, je le verrai bien boucler son passage sur la série au bout de douze n°, ce qui serait un belle perf' de sa part. Puis embrayer avec un nouveau projet (Action Comics avec Bendis ? J'aimerai bien.)
(Bon courage à DC et Vendetti pour trouver un artiste de sa trempe ensuite sur Hawkman, où Hitch affiche une forme olympique depuis le début.)

J'aimerai beaucoup voir le retour de Rags Morales sur la série au moins pour un temps, ça pourrait être super sympa de le revoir sur ce titre.

Il finit sa maxi-série chez Boom puis va donner des cours à la Kubert School. Difficile de le voir sur un titre régulier.

The big DC Comics news was announced today at the Western World’s largest comic convention Lucca Comics & Games (only beaten in size by Tokyo’s Comiket). A new DC Comics crossover between the DC Universe characters and those of Italian publisher Sergio Bonelli Editore and RW Edizioni.

The first crossover project, scheduled for release next year, will focus on the characters of Zagor and Flash.

Flash, all Bleeding Cool readers will know. Zagor possibly less so.

Zagor was created by Sergio Bonelli and Gallieno Ferri in 1961. Real name Patrick Wilding, living in the forests of Pennsylvania during the first half of the 19th century. Zagor is short for Za-Gor Te-Nay, “The Spirit with the Hatchet”. A master acrobat, Zagor fights to maintain peace over all his territory, protect native American tribes and hunt down criminals.

As a boy, he saw his parents die at the hands of Abenaki native Americans and swore revenge. But he later learning that his father had himself slaughtered many native Americans, and he gained a more nuanced approach, becoming an avenger for justice, a hatchet-wielding acrobat, Zagor. Stories ranged from westerns, to supernatural horror, to science fiction.

The comic remains popular in Italy today, but also especially popular in Serbia, Croatia and in Turkey – which made unofficial Zagor movies in Turkish. The US saw initial reprints of Zagor in 2015 from Epicenter Comics, it’s possible there may be a few more now.

This is the first planned Sergio Bonelli/DC Comics crossover with more to come in 2019 and 2020.

Intéressant. Mais je garde la plus grande partie de mon enthousiasme pour l'annonce des crossovers avec Tex, Martin Mystère et Dylan Dog !

Zembla, c'est pas Bonelli, les droits sont gérés par Mosaic Multimedia, qui gère pratiquement tout le patrimoine Lug/Semic. Sept tomes d'épisodes classiques, plus des numéros modernes et des crossovers, sont disponibles sur le site de Rivière Blanche, si tu aimes. ;) Mais ce site est de toute façon une mine d'or pour ce qui est des rééditions de petits formats (92 omnibus, cinq saisons de Strangers, sans compter les albums à part, Strangers Universe et le Garde Républicain) et de fantastique français. C'est malin, je me prends à rêver d'un crossover plus conséquent que le Wampus/Nexus (oui, le héros de Steve Rude) de 2002, moi, maintenant.

Pour revenir au sujet, j'ai oublié de mentionner Nathan Never, qui n'est pas mon préféré mais pourrait bien être associé à un perso futuriste de DC.

Je rêve d'un Dampyr avec les personnages mystiques de DC !!!

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi associer Zagor avec Flash. Deux persos aux univers différents, il n'y avait pas un meilleur choix chez DC, même Batman?

Tu ne m'apprends rien, Ben, ça fait des mois que Jean-Marc Lofficier a balancé officiellement l'info, mais ça permettra aux autres de savoir que ce crossover existe. :) Il sortira en même temps aux USA.

Pour revenir au sujet, je viens de penser un truc : Java (de Metamorpho) va sûrement enfin pouvoir rencontrer Java (de Martin Mystère), sachant que le premier a inspiré le deuxième. DC et Bonelli vont-ils sauter le pas? ;)

Eh tiens, je me suis toujours posé la question pour les Java et tu m'as apporté un début de réponse sur qui est le premier! :nerd: Merci!

Ou à John Constantine à qui il fait furieusement penser niveau look (même si j'imagine que le but était peut-être plus de ressembler à Deckard de Blade Runner?).

Jeff Lemire quitte The Terrifics au #14 (fin du titre?) en mars et arrête même tout WFH pour se consacrer à ses projets TV et indés à l'exception d'un titre Black Label encore à annoncer.

On va voir s'il y a volonté de DC de conserver ce bon titre.

Oh, ça, ça sent le sapin pour The Terrifics... D'un autre côté, 14 numéros, c'est un petit exploit pour une série qui aura vu défiler autant de dessinateurs et qui a été conçue comme un pied-de-nez à l'absence de FF chez Marvel.
Cette collection de "New Age of Heroes" n'aura pas été une réussite dans sa conception.

Mais je comprends Lemire : chez Marvel comme chez DC, on ne lui confie rien de solide. Chez Dark Horse, il a développé le Black Hammer-verse, il en a la maîtrise totale tout en réécrivant les classiques. Si, en plus, il développe des choses pour la télé, autant lâcher le WFH.

Surtout s'il en a les moyens financiers. Il aurait tort de s'en priver...

Je pense que si je dois ne choisir que 2 crossovers, ce serait les 2 ci-dessous et ils formeraient une histoire à eux 2 :
- Mingled Suspense 1/2 - Dylan Dog / John Constantine
- Mingled Suspense 2/2 - Dampyr / Sandman
