Written by Paulina Ganucheau with art by Coleman Engle, the series will get a zero-issue preview on Free Comic Book Day, which Dynamite reveals sold 100,000 copies to comic book stores. Important to remember that comic book stores purchase comics on Free Comic Book Day, and then give them away, so do your LCS a solid and buy something while you’re there.

Anyway, a month later on June 4, we’ll get the story proper. You can check out covers by Paulina Ganucheau, Coleman Engle, Coran Kizer Stone, Saowee, and Nicoletta Baldari below, as well as solicit info for the issue.

“What I remember about first discovering Elvira is wanting to be like her,” said Conner via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “She’s got that sense of humor, that love of horror and comedy, and that hair and boobs and gorgeousness, all dialed up to eleven. I think she was (and still is) a great role model for all us weird girls.”

Added Palmiotti, “When we were offered this crossover with Elvira, it was the easiest thing in the world to make it work for us. Die hard fans of our work will feel like we never left Harley, while at the same time, we can take her on a new adventure with her new friend Elvira. This series is so much fun.”

In the series, Harley gets bored while Elvira is facing an “uncertain future” when it looks like her TV show might be canceled. But when they cross paths, get ready for the most ridiculous Halloween party of all time.

“I’ve been fortunate to have experienced a lot of crazy parties, both as attendee and host, with guest lists that would make your eyeballs pop out. And recently, in comics, I’ve crossed paths with many unexpected characters, but this is one of my most exciting yet!,” said Cassandra Peterson, the voice and visage behind Elvira. “The party invite is open to all my fans, and Harley’s too!”

In addition to Conner’s covers, the six issue series will also feature covers by Joseph Michael Linsner, Ben Caldwell, Mark Spears, and Chad Hardin.
