Pour donner de la crédibilité à son annonce il ressort un article de 2011 en disant qu'il avait été le premier à annoncer le new 52.

Les Elseworlds étaient tellement bien pourtant, plutôt qu'aller se casser la figure avec une nouvelle ligne copiant Marvel.

Quand on voit le succès commercial de la nouvelle ligne Ultimate, le Distingué Concurrent aurait tord de ne pas tenter la même expérience. Ca c'est pour la forme, après le fond est triste oui.

Curieux de voir comment ils vont s'inspirer de la ligne ultimate :hum: .

Surement l'exploration de l'omniverse avec à la fin du fin une nouvelle crise :beu: .
Par contre pas fan de l'appellation "absolute" qui reste pour moi une collection bien identifiée.

It is unapologetically huge in scope and fun as hell, with one of the best art teams I’ve ever worked with…Eddy Barrows, Danny Miki, and Rex Lokus on colors!”

The first of Simone and Barrows’s three issues kicks off when a massively powerful alien race makes Earth their arena. Superman, DC’s Man of Steel, must stand alone against impossible challenges that threaten locations all around the world and the lives of those he loves. Action Comics #1067 begins a not-to-be missed epic tale of Superman’s strength, wit, and resourcefulness in an early stage of his public career!

“For me talking about Action Comics is something that goes beyond the title itself,” shared Barrows. “I remember when I was 7 years old, I was playing on the sidewalk, and suddenly I was run over by a truck, right there. I spent 3 days fighting for my life, and during that whole year that followed I remained in bed, doing lots of physiotherapy, lots of meds and exams. Going to the doctors was a very regular thing. And it was during that time that Superman came to my life, reading Action Comics. Kal-El became a good friend of mine, making my days better. His adventures and his behavior were things that stuck with me! Reading his stories were the highlight of my days, for a 7-year-old recovering from an accident like I was. Back then I wouldn’t have imagined that one day I would be helping to build his legacy: illustrating his stories. The stories of my all-time favorite superhero… SUPERMAN!”

Action Comics #1067, #1068, and #1069 (July, August, and September) will be written by Gail Simone with art by Eddy Barrows, Danny Miki, Rex Lokus and Dave Sharpe.

Action Comics #1067 will have a main cover by Eddy Barrows, Danny Miki, and Tomeu Morey, and will also carry variant covers by Wes Craig, Pablo Villalobos, and Ben Oliver (1:25), on sale Wednesday, July 10. The main Eddy Barrows cover will also be released as a foil variant cover.

Absolute Power: Task Force VII

Absolute Power: Task Force VII is a biweekly companion series that explores the events of Absolute Power from the Super-Villains’ perspective, as the Trinity of Evil co-opts the combined powers of Amazo and the technology of Failsafe in their quest to eliminate all metahumans.

On sale July 10, Absolute Power: Task Force VII #1 is written by Leah Williams with art by Caitlin Yarsky and introduces the Last Son. Waller’s living weapon has eliminated the threat of Superman and all his allies in Metropolis, and nowit’s setting its sights on the DC Universe’s other metahuman clan: Shazam, Mary Marvel, and the rest of the Shazamily.

A hostile takeover is in store for the citizens of Atlantis on July 24, as Absolute Power: Task Force VII #2 introduces the Amazo robot known as Depth Charge. Depth Charge has stolen not only Aquaman’s powers, but his throne, and the Atlantean populace must either toe the line or risk having their powers taken as well. Absolute Power: Task Force VII #3 ends the month with a bang on July 31, as the Amazo robot Jadestone absorbs the powers of the Justice Society of America. But after being compromised by Green Lantern Alan Scott’s willpower, Jadestone is faced with the possibility of making its own decisions. Will it continue to execute Waller’s orders or exercise free will, as the remaining JSA members attempt a rescue to free their teammates and escape to the Tower of Fate?
