Tom Brevoort fait son boulot de VRP et vend X-Force :

"X-Force, in terms of description, is probably closest to Warren Ellis' Planetary. On the surface, it looks like a typical X-Force team, traditionally defined as the X-Men's kill squad. I'm kind of of the belief that the X-Men shouldn't have a kill squad, you know, for all that, our good guys go to Wolverine and say, "Hey, we need you to get a bunch of guys to, like, kill a bunch of people so our hands are clean and we could pretend to be moral while knowing about it and sanctioning it." That doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, X-Force is centered around Forge. Forge has had a vision, and its caused him to build something. The thing he's built predicts fracture points, moments and places in the world where a crisis is going to occur if something isn't done. Forge has assembled X-Force as the machine to deal with those crises. So the membership, who's in it, what they do, how they do it, is all built almost on an unconscious level because it's an outgrowth of Forge's maker power to put together the right elements to deal with the situation.

"We'll also, fairly routinely in that book, have extra characters as guest stars and hangers-on in the way that Deadpool is in the first issue. But, you know, there's a larger thing going on. In that "Planetary" sense, not only are Forge and the X-Force characters getting involved in all these weird happenings around the world, but they begin to suss out the pattern behind them Da Vinci Code style. There's something bigger brewing behind all of that that we will slowly peel the onion layers back from and get to. But it's, you know, like, literally, they don't have headquarters. Their headquarters is a self-repairing Blackbird that they fiy around on. They don't do wheels down unless something's going on. They're just on the go constantly."

Over the last few years, fans have been reacquainted with Spider-Verse icons and discovered all-new favorites in the blockbuster hit EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE comic book series. Now, see the final evolution of this saga in SPIDER-SOCIETY, a new limited series launching this August.

From acclaimed author Alex Segura (Secret Identity) and rising star Marvel artist Scott Godlewski (MS. MARVEL: MUTANT MENACE), SPIDER-SOCIETY will spin the entire Multiverse into one epic saga! Fans got their first taste earlier this year in a special prelude story in the WEB OF SPIDER-MAN one-shot. Le mystérieux projet de Greg Capullo pour son retour chez Marvel a été dévoilé : bien lié à Wolverine, il est en plus écrit par Jonathan Hickman! Il s'agit de la mini-série en 5 épisodes Wolverine: Revenge débutant en août.
Le titre dispose aussi du procédé Red Band c'est-à-dire 2 éditions du même numéro.

Last year, industry legend Greg Capullo made his celebrated return to Marvel Comics, and now, after a host of incredible cover work, he’s back to gracing the Marvel Universe with his iconic interior artwork! Capullo will team up with visionary writer Jonathan Hickman this August in an all-new prestige limited series: WOLVERINE: REVENGE!

Announced earlier today by Polygon, WOLVERINE: REVENGE will be five issues of pure, unadulterated Wolverine action just in the time for the iconic character’s 50th anniversary. If that’s not enough, WOLVERINE: REVENGE will also be available as special RED BAND EDITIONS. Like the current BLOOD HUNT event series, WOLVERINE: REVENGE – RED BAND EDITION will be polybagged for the protection of innocent eyes, and include exclusive pages and elevated violence!

Capullo and Hickman pit Wolverine against a cadre of foes who will turn his world upside down, including Sabretooth, Omega Red, Deadpool, and more. He’s been beaten! He’s been bloodied! And Logan only has one thought on his mind: revenge!

"I’ve finally returned home to Marvel, and I’m ready to raise some Hell. And, who better to do that with than the Hitman Hickman?" Capullo told Polygon, who also shared an exclusive preview. "To celebrate, Marvel has removed the fences and let us off our leash so that we can bring the most vicious and punishing Wolverine story possible to the fans this summer. I hope they’re prepared."

"Well, obviously it’s such a privilege to get to work with a legend like Greg," Hickman added. "When we first talked about the project, our number one concern was taking the readers on a high-octane, no-hold-barred Wolverine story that was a proper celebration of both the character and Greg returning to Marvel. And like he said, the bosses cut us loose and the result is an absolutely wild book. Honestly can’t wait for everyone to get to check it out."

Par ailleurs, la fin de cette mini indique donc un The end, for now, ce qui s'accorde avec le fait que pour le moment, il n'y a plus de titre Predator sollicité. J'espère tout de même qu'on aura une suite, car Brisson gère très bien sa barque :)

J'en profite pour ajouter cette info: Ed Brisson semble en avoir terminé avec cet univers, vu ce qu'il dit sur Twitter; toutefois, il affirme aussi espérer pouvoir y revenir un jour. Bref, ce fut un run court mais quand même hyper sympa. J'espère que la suite sera du même acabit !
