"I had the advantage that Dan Slott's run went super huge," North said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "In the most recent arc, 'The Reckoning War,' they saved not just the universe, but the Multiverse. That made the choice obvious: I'm never going to go as big as Dan did, so let's tell smaller stories about the Fantastic Four. That was my way in."

"I want to do these smaller, self-contained stories in the vein of '60s Star Trek, where they go down to a planet, find a weird thing, fix the weird thing, and move on," he added. "Having these four weirdos roll into town where there's a mystery or a problem or some sci-fi thing, solve the problem, and then move on struck me as a very interesting way to position the Fantastic Four and tell stories that would feel fresh and not like a retread of what we've seen before."

After the first issue spotlights Ben Grimm and Alicia, Issue #2 will focus on Reed Richards (AKA Mr. Fantastic) and Sue Richards (AKA Invisible Woman), while Issue #3 pivots to to Johnny Storm (AKA the Human Torch). But don't worry, True Believers—the series will bring them all back together before long!

j'ai vu passer l'annonce hier.. et oui comme le dit Esseji, Ryan North c'est Squirrel girl, et la derniere mouture de Power PAck (et je viens de m'apercevoir que je n'ai même pas al fin de la mini, et que ca ne me manque pas...)

Iban Coello est un dessineux passe partout ...

J'ai donné sa chance à Slott (je n'ai pas aimé et arrêté après 18 numéros), mais , la non, je ferais dans l'économie ^^

Avec Wells et North sur 2 de leurs gros titres (et Aaron n'arrive pas à la fin de son run avengers? ) le message est clair , Marvel vise le jeune publique

La plupart des "originaux" sont toujours dans le coeur de Krakoa, se faisant gentiment digérés ...

Au fait, les 2 sacrifices annuels à Krakoa, cela a déjà eu lieu, ou pas, vu que j' ai lâché l' affaire vers le N° 10 des X-Men ?

J aurai tellement voulu savoir ce qu Hickman avait prévu (ce fameux plan en 3 actes) je pense qu il est de ces auteurs qui fonctionnent mieux en vase clos qu en chef de projet de toute façon.

Non, non ...

J' ai fait appel à ma mémoire (défaillante) et j' ai retrouvé un extrait de X-Force (2020) N° 9 où, dans son "Beast's Logbook", Hank dit ceci :

"The plants must be sated if they are to be obedient. In this way, Terra Verde bears some resemblance to Krakoa (which requires the consumption of two mutants each year if it is to thrive)."

Bien sûr, ce n' est pas explicite ...

Mais, vu l' épanouissement de Krakoa avec tout ce qu' il offre aux mutants, on n' est plus à 2 sacrifices près !! :D

En cherchant le N° où j' avais lu cela, je suis tombé sur ce vieil article :

Et donc, si sacrifices il y a réellement, pourquoi Krakoa ne les demande pas ?

Se pourrait-il qu' il ait assez de "nourriture" avec la centaine de mutants principaux (Logan, Scott, Jean, Hank ... ) qui "dorment" dans ses racines ?

Et je reste persuadé que c' est Apocalypse (Et Mr Sinister en Igor dévoué) qui a fait ce deal avec Krakoa pour enfin obtenir sa nation 100% mutante !

Et oui, je vais très loin, mais je pense à un Easter Egg de Hickman quand je vois le verre que tient Jean dans ce même X-Force 9 (en forme de tête d' Apocalypse) ... Aucun autre verre ne représente un personnage mutant !

J'avais cru comprendre que Krakoa se nourrissait de l'équivalent de l'énergie de deux mutants, mais en prenant juste un petit % sur chacun des milliers d'habitants.

Il était temps qu'elle ait une série.
Mais comme c'est le titre sur la couverture qui fait vendre, ils auraient peut-être dû lui faire reprendre le nom de Captain Marvel. Pas que ça assure un succès formidable, mais c'est toujours mieux que Photon.

Si c'est du même niveau que Ant-Man, on est gâté!

Franchement, Ant-Man est ce genre de comics de super-héros qui sublime le genre, tout en finesse et références, avec de bonnes doses d'action, d'humour, et de sub-plot qui lie le tout.
