THE END OF SPIDER-VERSE IS UPON US! In the aftermath of EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE, the upcoming limited series that explores and introduces Spider-Heroes from across the Multiverse, comes a new ongoing series by two of Spider-Man’s most legendary creators—Dan Slott and Mark Bagley! Just in time for Spider-Man’s 60th anniversary, the two Spidey masterminds will be teaming up for the first time on the Web-Slinger to unleash the full potential of the Spider-Verse and its beloved heroes in SPIDER-MAN #1!

The new saga will kick off when a threat emerges that will change the fate of Peter Parker and all his fellow Spider icons such as Spider-Woman, Ghost-Spider, Miles Morales, Silk, and more, including the new heroes that will debut in EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE. The series will also tie directly into the events of Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr.’s AMAZING SPIDER-MAN run, picking up plot elements such as Spidey’s new costume and his mysterious association with Norman Osborn!

Morlun is back and he is not alone. Allied with one of the most powerful beings known to the Spider-Verse, the scariest Spider-Villain of all time is making his biggest play and no Spider is safe. Especially not the Chosen Spider himself, Peter Parker. With Peter working for Norman Osborn and using a glider… does he have it coming?

Here's what Slott had to say about his grand return to Spider-Man: “How does it feel to be writing Spider-Man again? Like I'm home. Like there's nowhere else I'd rather be. Slott revient pour mettre un terme au Spider-Verse

Moi j'ai globalement beaucoup aimé l'ensemble du run de Slott donc ravi de le voir de retour.

Au début, quand j'avais entendu le retour de Bagley sur une nouvelle série du célèbre Monte en l'air, je m'étais dit que j'allais m'y remettre. Mais bon, une collaboration avec Osborn :zinzin: et un costard avec des rajouts verts sans oublier le petit robot araignée... :stop:
Au final, ben ce sera sans moi. :D

Je regrette cette époque où ses habits étaient dans de la toile accrochés à une cheminée, qu'il retrouvait ensuite squatté par des oiseaux qui avaient fait leur nid. C'était ça la Parker Luck, là il est dans un confort qui ne lui va pas.

Péter c est le meilleur d entre nous : réussir à être dans la même pièce qu Osborn lavé de ses péchés après la mort de Gwen, l enlèvement de May, de Normie, de baby May, la campagne de terreur lors du rachat du Buggle, Dark Reign, le Red Goblin... Amazing Spider-Man #7 montre bien qu'il ne lui a pas pardonné et qu'il se méfie, ce qui est logique.

SPIDER-MAN (2022) #1 will kick off the end of the Spider-Verse with the return of Morlun, an immortal being thirsty for Spider-Man's life force – and he's not alone. This time, he's brought along Shathra, a supernatural spider-wasp intent on destroying the Spider-Verse. Peter Parker is going to need all the help he can get to take down these two…so it's a good thing he recently got a Goblin-themed upgrade from none other than Norman Osborn.

A first look at the issue shows Peter having a chat with Norman over the phone, before he ducks into an alley to change and unleash one of his Spider-bots. In another page, two masked men in a box truck careen wildly down a crowded New York City street with the cops close behind. Spidey sends a Spider-bot to cut the truck's power, causing it to head straight for a mother and daughter walking on the sidewalk. Fortunately for them, another page shows Spider-Man swooping them away just in the nick of time, although the incident leaves them shaken. A final page reveals the return of Morlun.

Additionally, Marvel can also unveil the cover to SPIDER-MAN (2022) #3, which releases in December. The cover shows Spidey teaming up with Night-Spider, a Spider-Verse variant of Felicia Hardy who became a Spider-Hero instead of Black Cat. Together, they ward off an army of mutated Spider-Heroes. It looks like they'll have to make an impossible heist against impossible odds!

C'est toujours très clair et limpide niveau narration et mine de rien, le gars maintient un niveau vraiment constant depuis des années et la combo avec Dell semble tenir ses promesses. What Else ?
