Over the course of five issues, EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE will introduce brand-new Spider-heroes as well as catch up with classic favorites such as Araña, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Gwen, and Spider-Man: India! Each thrilling issue will contain three stories packed with debuts, new status quos, and seeds for an overarching saga that will set the stage for THE END OF SPIDER-VERSE, a new epic launching later this year.

Très content de voir Arana de retour. Cette identité de Spider-Girl était une terrible erreur.

Par contre, je me méfie de Slott qui a la gâchette beaucoup trop facile.
J'en reviens toujours pas qu'il ait massacré les Amazing Friends.

Je pense prendre la amazing #1000 car quelques auteurs me font de l'œil (et puis numéro anniversaire quoi!) , mais je reste déçu de l'absence d'incontournable tel que Todd MCFARLANE, Erik LARSEN, Chip ZDARSKY.... (Zeb WELLS :D ).
Là cela aurait eu de la "gueule" :nerd:

Faut qu'il fasse gaffe quand il se retourne le pépère avec ses fioles dans l'dos là. :D
Je n'ai pas fait ce run de Hitch, parce que déjà je n'aime pas le personnage de Venom et ensuite, le style de Hitch ne va pas avec Venom je trouve. Mais bon, il semblerait qu'il se plaise sur ce titre et qu'il y soit régulier, c'est déjà pas mal.
Il y a des lecteurs de cette série ?

Sans voir le contenu des comics à venir, ça devrait redevenir la norme, ça redonnerait un peu de surprises à nos lectures.
Et puis lorsque l'on t'annonce du Jim Cheung, du Olivier Coipel, du Neil Gaiman, Kurt Busiek, tu sais déjà que ça ne devrait pas être inintéressant, pas besoin non plus d'en voir de trop.

Tu n'as pas tort, c'est surtout pour faire un coup à nos frais. Mais je n'ai déjà pas pris Marvel Comics 1000, je ne vais pas me lancer maintenant.

Bin, ce qu'il est dit dans l'article :

Bleeding Cool understands that this company, or new owners, now wish to publish Conan comic books themselves. And so won't be renewing the Marvel Comics license. I understand however that this will not affect Conan backstock of collections and omnibuses which Marvel will continue to publish. And that they could even use the Conan character in continuing Savage Avengers comic books. That will have to be seen. But for ongoing Marvel Conan series? King Conan #5 is published by Marvel on the 1st of June, and #6 on the 6th of July and that may be your lot.

Ils pourront faire des réimpressions mais pas lancer de nouveaux titres centrés sur le personnage.

Au passage, je viens de lire le #1 et je suis bien emballé (même si la fameuse fin n'est qu'un gros mirage juste pour exciter les réseaux sociaux).
Titre au passage qui accumule les retards dès le #2 et dont le fameux #900 (aka le #6) ne sortira pas en juin mais déjà plus la dernière semaine de juillet donc le #10 en août j'y crois moyen...

Bon, il faudra que la Marvel m'explique comment ils ont calculés que leur numéro 1000 hypothétique d'une série qui ne vendait pas sortirait maintenant ?

car 1000 numéros implique une durée de vie de 83 ans 1/3 à raison d'un numéro par mois.

Amazing Fantasy 1 est sorti durant l'été 1961 , si on ajoute 83 ans, cela nous mène à 2044.

(pour avoir un numéro 1000 cette année il eu fallut que AmFan sorte 15 numéros par an, tous les ans depuis 1961)

Bon je sais que c'est fait pour courir après DC et essayer de dire "nous aussi, nous aussi " mais ca fait tout de même cheap .

Damage Control, a new five-issue Marvel series launching in August from writers Goldberg, Hans Rodionoff and Charlotte Fullerton, with art by Will Robson and Jay Fosgitt. The series will follow a team of heroes, which also includes Ghost Rider and Quicksilver, as they not only provide for cataclysmic events within the Marvel Universe.

The synopsis reads, "Marvel’s Unsung Heroes finally get sung! After the mega-powered battles and Hulk-level catastrophes, Damage Control is always there to clean up the mess and get things back to normal. But Damage Control is much more than just a glorified cleanup crew, and this new series will pull back the curtain and reveal the secret inner workings that were previously only available to people with Clearance Level Eight. And we’ll witness it all through the eyes of Gus: a fresh-faced, eager newcomer to the company who has no idea how chaotic his life is about to become."

Damage Control marks the first Marvel series Goldberg has worked on following contributions to 2019's Marvel Comics #1000. He created ABC's The Goldbergs, a sitcom that first aired in 2013 and was recently renewed for a tenth season. "Damage Control has always been our favorite part of the Marvel Universe ever since it made its debut back in the 80s," Goldberg said. "[Hans and I] literally cheered when Damage Control made an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming and then again when they returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home. And yes, we saw both those movies together." Hans added, "We’re both huge Marvel fans, and we also love The Office, so we knew Damage Control had all the makings of a really fun show. It’s a workplace comedy where Captain Marvel might visit your cubicle or you could end up doing trust falls with Thor at the company retreat."

Launching a new Damage Control series, Goldberg said, allowed the team of creators to explore some never-before-seen areas of the department. "We got to do a little world-building and expand the mythology," Goldberg explained. "And we also got to do a ton of really fun cameos, which is always one of the best parts of Damage Control comics... and those cameos absolutely must be part of the eventual show as well!" Hans agreed, "While we’re on the subject, I’d like to put a stop to the long-standing rumor that Damage Control is just a stepping stone to S.H.I.E.L.D. Not taking anything away from super-spies and enhanced operatives, but working at Damage Control is a true privilege and an honor. True story: I’ve seriously contemplated trying to get a job at Avengers Campus, just so I can get myself a Damage Control baseball cap and cargo vest."

Created by Dwayne McDuffie and Ernie Colón, Marvel's Damage Control teamed first appeared in 1988's Marvel Age Annual #4. Specializing in repairing the damage caused by superhero and supervillain events, the group has appeared in a number of Marvel events, including "Civil War," "World War Hulk" and more.

Damage Control #1 features cover art by Carlos Pacheco and variant cover art by Robson. The issue releases in August from Marvel.

Announced this past weekend at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Yoda will star in a brand-new Marvel Comics limited series this October. A ten-issue epic, STAR WARS: YODA will take place during Yoda’s self-imposed exile on Dagobah as he reflects on past adventures. The centuries-spanning saga will be divided into three arcs by three separate creative teams, each set during key moments in the Jedi Master’s long and legendary life.

New York Times bestselling author Cavan Scott and artist Nico Leon will kick things off with a story set during the Star Wars: The High Republic era. They’ll be followed by writers Jody Houser and Marc Guggenheim and artists Luke Ross and Alessandro Miracolo with stories set just before the Prequel Trilogy and near the end of the Clone Wars. Scott and Leon will return to complete the saga in the final issue. Yoda’s first-ever solo comic series, STAR WARS: YODA will reveal unexplored aspects of the Jedi Master’s storied history and shed new light on the mystery that has surrounded the iconic character since his debut.

“I’ve been lucky to write Yoda in various projects over the last few years, most notably in Dooku: Jedi Lost, and every time I write him my love for him deepens,” Scott told StarWars.com. “It’s fair to say that my study at home is a shrine for three Star Wars icons: there are a lot of Obi-Wan figures; many, many, many, MANY pieces of Ewok merchandise (do I love those murder bears more than the Lepi? Don’t tell Jaxxon, but there’s every chance!); and then there is Yoda. The little guy is everywhere, in models, in art, and in lots of LEGO. Yoda casts a long shadow over anything he appears in, and writing him is a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously.”

“I’ve been wanting to do a Yoda book since I started working on the STAR WARS titles,” Editor Mark Paniccia added. “Yoda is a very special character to me as he is to everyone working on this series. We all have our hearts and souls in this and I hope the fans enjoy it as much as we have putting it together. It’s really unique and I’m very proud of it.”

Hey there, True Believer!
Got a sec? I have something I'd like to share with you.
When I first jumped into the world of comics, my goal was to create my own characters, stories, and universes. Then, one day Marvel made me an offer that changed the trajectory of my life. But lately, I've found myself thinking more and more of my favorite stanza from T.S. Eliot's Little Gidding, "We shall not cease from exploration / And the end of all our exploring / Will be to arrive where we started / And know the place for the first time."
That's why it's both exciting and bittersweet that after discussions with both my family and my family at Marvel, after two plus decades (has it really been that long?), the time has come for me to move on. As you can imagine, my love for the company, its characters, and all my coworkers runs deep, but I have an exciting new chapter that's about to begin, so the time feels right.
In August of 2000, Marvel took a shot on me, entrusted me with the keys to the Universe, and has been my biggest supporter ever since. During that time, I've had the great fortune to stand on the shoulders of giants, none broader than those of my predecessors and mentors, the best editorial team in the business, my coworking family, and the most talented creators on earth who put their trust in me, especially in the early days when it looked like I was selling tickets on the Titanic. Thank you ALL for sharing your talents and pouring your heart and soul into every project. It's been an honor working with you, and I hope we get to do it all again.
Now, this doesn't mean you're getting rid of me that easily. I won't ever be too far away, cheering my Marvel family on and contributing from time to time, including something I'm thrilled about for later this year. I also have several insanely cool projects of my own that you'll be hearing about in the coming months, including a short indie film I'm writing and directing. Stay tuned!
It's been one hell of a ride, and I'm proud to have been a part of Marvel's rags to riches story and satisfied that I accomplished the job I was hired to do twenty-two years ago (seriously, where did the time go?). But none of this happens without one very important person.
