les Nouveaux fac-simile sont bien mieux que les vieux (Milestones et autres du même genre)
les anciens la couv était reprise dans un cadre gris / argenté , et même en gardant les pages d'origines (pub, courrier, et autres) il y avait un tampon ajouté rappelant que les publicité n'étaient plus d'actualité ^^
sans compter que les Fac-Simile Actuels ont leurs films de refaits ^^ (nettoyages ^^)
bon, après , je trouve qu'il n'y en a pas assez ^^ (surtout chez DC)
Je ne considérais pas les Millennium comme des fac-similés mais plutôt des reprints, tout comme les singles Masterworks chez Marvel. Pour moi il y a une énorme différence, surtout pour les éditoriaux dans les Millennium.
DC avait lancé une série de fac-similé qui ont été stoppé avec l'arrêt du confinement, et sont passés à la trappe.
Par contre ils n'ont pas gardé les prix d'origine !!!!! Avec un Annual à 7,99$ !!!!

Tous ne sont pas des Fac Simile (une partie sont des reprints, et d'autres séries avec le même nom sont des reprints)

on ne va pas faire la fine bouche ;)
le à l'identique est remplacé par "Papier Actuel de meilleur facture" (qui ne jaunit pas et se déchire moins facilement)
et depuis les récents travaux de restauration on a des histoires en meilleur état que l'original ^^
(et puis avoir des épisodes clés, en bonne qualité, ça le fait dans sa collec .... )

Ah ben si, j' en ai commandé plusieurs et failli les laisser sur place vu que ce n' étaient pas des fac-similés.
Et les couleurs d' époque nettoyées passent beaucoup moins bien sur du papier semi glacé.
Et sur un fac-similé, tu n' es pas censé voir la mention "fac-similé" imprimée, ni code-barres (pas sous la main mais il me semble que les premiers en avaient).
Là ça revient presque à payer 4 dollars de + qu' un reprint pour le courrier et les pubs de l' époque... Et un papier de qualité légèrement supérieure, mais trop fin et éloigné du papier de l' époque :ouf:
Il y a toujours des nuances dans la façon dont c'est réédité. Deux exemple de mes photos plus haut, Mystery in Space est sur un papier façon journal et le Avengers #57 a son cartouche avec le prix d'origine.

Encore mieux. En fait j aurai kiffé que Marvel nous ressorte de très vieille série au format True believers en plus des reliés. Je ne jure que par les back issues

Je me suis pris le WW 204 ce week-end. J zomerai su ils reeditent de vieux run sous cette forme
Agréablement surpris des efforts d'impression de ce reprint. D'ordinaire ce qui ne prend pas chez ces fac-similé c'est que la qualité des couleurs n'a rien à voir avec celles d'origines. Ici DC a fait l'effort d'un effet retro, où les planches sont comme brouillées par le processus d'impression, un faux rendu vieillot qui marche assez bien.

Oui, je me faisais la réflexion qu'il y a sûrement moyen de le trouver pour bien moins que 8 euros.
Sont gonflés chez Marvel quand même, ils se sont fait des couilles en or massif avec les ventes de ce comics X-Men 1 de Jim Lee et là ils veulent nous la refaire avec un n° Facsimile de 1991 à 7.99$ !!! Ils sont forts quand même. J'ai la totale aussi, ce sera sans moi.
Le X-Men 1 de 1963 par contre, j'ai pas alors banco pour la version Facsimile. ^^
Même réflexion pour le X-23 qui date de 2005 !!! Pour moi, c'est bien trop tôt pour balancer une version Facsimile, aucun intérêt.

Justement à l'époque, à la sortie du X-Men 1 de Jim Lee il y a eu un facsimile de X-Men 1 et Giant Size 1 (j'avais sauté sur ces facsimile à l'époque)
Bien moins cher que ce qu'ls proposent la ... (avec un papier brillant et plus épais que ce que l'on a de nos jours) et ils se trouvent encore à des prix plus abordable que leurs rééditions actuelles ^^

Here’s the back story: Young Romance, created in 1947 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby (of course), is widely considered to be the first romance comic. The first 124 issues were published by Prize Comics, with the title purchased by DC in 1963, along with Young Love. So, in other words, this is the first DC issue of the first romance series. Cool — but even cooler is that it features work by John Romita, Jay Scott Pike, Mike Sekowsky, Bernard Sachs, Gaspar Saladino and Ira Schnapp. A fabulous gift for Valentine’s Day.

D autant plus que s agissant de réédition ils n ont au mieux que des royalties à sortir. La compta a compris que vendre à 4 ou 5 dollars un comics qui ne coûte que l impression et le transport contre 4 ou 5 dollars un comics ou tout est à payer était gagnant.
Je me dis que quitte à doper artificiellement le marché des back issues, cette méthode est plus saine (et plus interessante) que celle des variants covers.
Bon après mon point de vue est celui de quelqu'un qui ne jure que par le format monthly et qui est donc toujours heureux de mettre 5 euros ds la réédition d une back issues valant des dizaines ou centaines d euros.
On sait que le berger aime répondre à la bergère. Attendons de voir quelle sera l'offre de DC après les rééditions de COIE.
