Pour l'anthologie, je me dis que ça peut être intéressant pour quelq'un comme moi qui suit toujours les mêmes scénaristes et dessinateurs, l'occasion de découvrir de nouveaux noms. Mais c'est quand 72 euros au final pour des petites histoires sans garantie de qualité donc je pense qu'au final, ce sera non.

la création du syndicat : Comic Book Workers United va plus loin que Image

le fait que ce syndicat existe (une affiliation au Communications Workers of America) risque de faire boule de neige chez les autres éditeurs ...

mais il faut passer l'étape du "contrat type" en cours de négociation entre le nouveau syndicat et Image Comics

- La disparition des noms peut être lié au fait de cette négociation (comme pour le cinéma et d'autres branches, le nom de la personne sera sûrement associé au nom du syndicat à l avenir)
- Les auteurs ne sont pas membres de l'Union, ils sont Freelance - le syndicat ne concerne que les Staffers
- Image Comics a refusé de reconnaitre le création du CBWU, donc ils sont passé par l'affiliation au CWA pour faire reconnaitre leur existence. (et vu que le CWA a plus de bouteille, les accords de négociations peuvent être plus long, et sur de plus nombreux points que ce que défendait CBWU)

Mark Millar just claimed in his most recent newsletter that he has "just nicked Marvel's best artist". By which he means he has stolen them, rather than cut them with a scalpel. But also that "in the interest of fairness we've stolen's DC's top guy too!!" The phrasing means that they are presumably both male. Now, the current belief is that Marvel's top artist is Pepe Larraz, defined as the Jim Lee of today, while DC Comics' best artist is Jorge Jimenez who is defined as the Marc Silvestri of his day. Or vice versa. But there are plenty of others you might want to mention, including Christian Ward, Peach Momoko, Howard Porter, Marco Checchetto, Emanuela Lupacchino, Esad Ribic, Max Sarin, Lucas Werneck, Bryan Hitch… – okay it's not going to be Bryan Hitch, but there are so many to choose from. And whoever it is, Mark will declare them as the best artists of DC and Marvel. He continues;

"In a Reservoir Dogs style smash and grab, Millarworld has snatched the two greatest artists in comics right now, but we're actually going to save the announcement until next month when we can show you exactly what they're drawing. Mark Millar just claimed in his most recent newsletter that he has "just nicked Marvel's best artist". By which he means he has stolen them, rather than cut them with a scalpel. But also that "in the interest of fairness we've stolen's DC's top guy too!!" The phrasing means that they are presumably both male. Now, the current belief is that Marvel's top artist is Pepe Larraz, defined as the Jim Lee of today, while DC Comics' best artist is Jorge Jimenez who is defined as the Marc Silvestri of his day. Or vice versa. But there are plenty of others you might want to mention, including Christian Ward, Peach Momoko, Howard Porter, Marco Checchetto, Emanuela Lupacchino, Esad Ribic, Max Sarin, Lucas Werneck, Bryan Hitch… – okay it's not going to be Bryan Hitch, but there are so many to choose from. And whoever it is, Mark will declare them as the best artists of DC and Marvel. He continues;

J'ai bien ce HC en effet. Par rapport aux singles, on peut voir un travail effectué sur la colorisation, légèrement moins flashy. Il y a également le numéro flip book qui se passe avant le #1. Busiek fait l'introduction. Le gros plus reste dans ce que l'on appelle désormais les bonus avec la présentation du monde d'Arrowsmith, des ébauches de Pacheco et la genèse du comics avec les premières idées. Bien évidemment il ne faut pas avoir peur de lire en anglais mais j'ai trouvé cela passionnant, un véritable complément, Busiek n'étant pas avare d'anecdote et il a le verbe facile. Un bel objet à un prix accessible si je me rappelle bien (acheté dès sa sortie :huhu: donc il y a déjà quelques mois). Je recommande, même pour ceux qui ont l'édition intégrale FV (qui comportait aussi le flip book que j'ai désormais en 3 versions dont une signée par Mérino).

A l heure des monthlies à 4 ou 5 euros je ne peux que saluer. Ça me rappelle la ligne de Marvel à 99 cents et les fans se disant "à ce prix ça ne peut pas être bien" ou le 1er numéro des FF de Waid vendu par palettes à 50 cents avant de retomber à des commandes normales juste après.

Du coup à moins d en vendre minimum 0.5 fois plus que d habitude ou de considérer le comics comme un pitch pour les studios je ne vois pas ces prix comme tenable (même si Millar est blindé)

Par contre je vais l acheter et cz me fait dire qu il y a plein de titres que je pourrais acheter à ce prix. Car aujourd'hui à 5 dollars je suis hyper regardant et des comics sympa comme Batman vs Robin ça ne passe pas à ce prix
