Writer Geoff Johns has announced that the third volume of he and artist Gary Frank's Batman: Earth One Volume Three was completed in June, and they're now waiting to hear when DC plans on releasing it.

"The third volume is finished," Johns told art agent David Macho in his YouTube show Dialogos de Comic (hat tip to Leyendas del Multiverso DC). "Gary finished it up a week or two ago, so its done. So whenever DC decides to release it. I finished the script a while ago."

Ce que je retiens pour le futur c'est que:
-Il existe un projet JSA :bave: avec Bryan HITCH. La décision est dans les mains de DC.
-Il a un projet comics de type non super-héros dont on devrait entendre parler très très bientôt.
-Il ne reviendra pas pour l'instant sur aquaman.
-Son travaille en tant que scénariste de comics est conditionné au sucés de la série TV stargirl.
Si il y a une deuxième saison, il y a peu de chance qu'on le voie scénariser sur papier, en raison de l"aspect chronophage que représente l'écriture de la dite série TV.

Ca dépend qui, mais bon, il ne m'avait pas déçu sur la JSA donc, pourquoi pas ne pas la relancer pour ensuite la confier à un nouveau scénariste.

Mark Waid sur Flash ? Son retour sur Wally après Infinite Crisis est un échec. Chris Claremont sur X-Men ? Tout n'est pas à jeter, mais rien n'est vraiment à garder pour ses retours. Je pense aussi à Pete Tomasi, qui revient actuellement sur Detective Comics après ses formidables Batman and Robin, et c'est très faible.

A la différence que Johns a su rester constant à travers les années, il n'a jamais livré de run vraiment médiocre, comme ceux que tu cites.

A la différence aussi que, Johns a écrit JSA durant des années... Puis est revenu justement un an après pour Justice Society, qui était très bon !

Et des comebacks réussis, il y en a : Peter David sur X-Factor me vient direct à l'esprit ! J'ai même sans doute préféré son second run au premier des années 90's...

Je pense que s'il veut y revenir, c'est qu'il a vraiment quelque chose de bon à raconter.

Et pour finir, s'il y a bien quelqu'un pour faire revenir des personnages classiques, sacrifiés par l'éditorial, c'est bien lui !

Je crois qu'il était dans l'éditorial ayant sacrifié le principe de "legacy" tellement présent dans l'adn de DC Comics ?

Maintenant, j'ai tellement râlé à l'époque du New52 parce que DC avait sacrifié cela et par conséquent la JSA, que j'ai hâte de voir revenir Johns sur ce titre qu'il n'a jamais foiré selon moi sur ses deux runs.
On verra bien si l'éventuel succès de Stargirl ne retarde pas le retour de JSA.
Ou bien, si c'est une volonté de DC de voir revenir la JSA, peut-être que ton voeux, Ben, sera exaucé avec quelqu'un d'autre au scénario. ;)

Je me demande si c'est pas DIDIO qui aurait vu une opportunité avec Flashpoint, et qui aurait alors décidé de faire d'un arc de flash, une pseudo crise ?

Sinon oui Justice Society était très bon, et pour moi bien supérieur à JSA.

C'est Dan Didio qui a profité de Flashpoint pour faire une refonte du DC Universe.
Il devait y avoir des changements mais pas aussi radicaux (la continuité fondamentale ne devait pas changer).
La double page avec Pandora et le mix de lignes temporelles ou continuités a été dessinée à la va-vite.

And also teased last month, was a brand new Sweet Tooth comic book series written and drawn by me, and coming right around the same time as the Netflix show. Sweet Tooth was originally a Vertigo series, and the new series will published through DC's Black Label imprint. Like the original series this one will be written and illustrated by me and colored by the great Jose Villarrubia.

I have written another new DC Black Label series starring my all-time favourite DC character and drawn by one of my all-time favorite artists. More on that later this year.

Chacun en pense ce qu'il veut, mais Scott Snyder qui lache du leste sur les grosses prod DC est une bonne nouvelle pour moi.
Si c'est Bendis qui reprend ce rôle ce n'est pas mieux, un gars comme Taylor mériterait d'être dans ce siège.
