I always say superheroes are junk food that's good for you, because on the surface they're just entertainment, but I strongly believe that heroes like the Flash, in particular, have these wonderful moral messages that people desperately want and we need. These stories resonate with us because we want these aspirational figures to look up to. Just like in the comics, the Flash is at the forefront of that. I hope that character survives for a long, long time."
