Here is the third big issue in our sf series, Out of This World. The cover may be the most frightening image Ditko has ever produced so we only dare show you a portion in our preview.
This issue is another 48-page anthology. The selection of materials is the equal of our two previous issues, perhaps even a little better?
Now there are some, many, who would like to know the details of plot, character, theme, and the conclusion of any coming attraction anywhere.
Those so interested can tune in to Turner Classic Movies in the evening and listen to the host reveal all of this and more before he begins showing the picture.
The Channel Guide provides details of the plot and ending of movies and television programs.
Select a tv news channel and you can find someone who will anxiously tell you how the big game will turn out, the contents of the political speech scheduled for the following day or how the election will be decided.
Turn to a comic book web site for all of the details about the new comics from Archie, DC, Marvel and others.
We have chosen to go our own way.
We can’t compete with Archie and the others and would be lost in the mix if we tried to do so.
Snyder and Ditko have established some sort of a record from 1988 to date. We have produced 62 different books--from Steve Ditko’s Static in the beginning to Konga no. 25 last year and Postshadowing vol. iv this month.
Now comes Out of This World this Summer.
Our book is complete, finished, but for the editorial pages. This is where you can shine, where we can add your name to the growing number of subscribers to our publications.
Yes, all we have to do is complete work on the text pages and send the book to the printer. We have been working with Morgan Printing for many years and are pleased with their work, efficiency and quick turn-around.
We invite you to join us in our new campaign.
We can use your help.
We do not have the star attractions of Archie, DC, Marvel and the others. Perhaps you can help us to spread the word about this new production.
Once we succeed in our campaign we will review the pages one more time before turning the book over to the printer.
