Moi, j'ai déjà une petite théorie sur cette "mort de DD" :

en fait, dans le #609, Matt se fait renverser par un camion, dans une situation renvoyant à ses origines, et il est hospitalisé dans un état grave. Je pense qu'il succombe à ses blessures ou qu'il sombre dans un coma profond. Tout ce qui suit n'est qu'un scénario qu'il imagine entre la vie et la mort.

On verra si je me trompe. Mais ce serait une pirouette astucieuse pour tuer le héros tout en ménageant son retour.

A moins que :

l'incarnation de Mike Murdock, pris sous son aile par the Hood et Fisk, ne joue un rôle important dans la mort de DD.
