Les images sont belles mais ça reste assez elliptique.

Ce titre Black Label est dans la continuité (à la base une intrigue Rebirth) quand (tous?) les autres ne le sont pas.

Soyons honnête, à la vue de la première planche j'ai senti monter en moi un dégoût qui trouve ses racines dans ce que tu décris. :oups:

Dégout me semble fort.
Moi ce qui me dérange à la vue de la 1er couv.. et apres Doomsday Clock, c est d avoir encore un projet qui marche TROP dans les pas de Moore.
Pour moi c est une erreur.. Dommsday aurait du être pensé plus comme une histoire DC que de rester dans les pas de watchmen à quai toutes les pages... d ailleurs je trouve que sur le dernier numéro où les auteurs (je compte Franck) s en éloigne le plus est le plus réussi...

Là 3 jokers pourrait etre un projet entièrement étranger à Killing Joke.. qu il y fasse des clins d oeil, pourquoi pas.. mais clairement Johns n a pas les mêmes points forts que Moore en tant que scenariste.. j espere qu il va éviter de coller à nouveau à sa narration/ecriture.. ca déssert et ses projets et lui même qui n a pas, encore une fois, les mêmes dispositions.

Pour moi Doomsday Clock (en dehors de toutes considérations concernant la situation d'Alan Moore par rapprt à Watchmen) a échoué à cause de cela. Cela aurait pu être un beau projet d event DC sans plus de prétention et ca finit avec,e n tout moi, comme lecteur qui ne peut m empecher puisqu on me met le nez dessus de voir que Johns et Franck ne sont pas mais pas du tout Moore et Gibbons et que Doomsday ne sera jamais Watchmen... et que je n ai pas cherché à faire mais qui pour moi de part le choix narratif des auteurs ne peut pas ne pas faire.

Et pour moi, toutes les equipes creatives auraient échouées...
Chacun ses spécificités, ce qui fonctionen sur quelques pages ou un numéro pour faire homage, clin d oeil (ou même contester), ne marche pas pour moi sur 11 numeros.

Before Watchmen, en général, offrait plus des narrations autres, des perspectives d auteurs différentes sur des personnages et un univers..(bon pour moi ca ne fonctionne pas beaucoup mieux... sauf peut etre Cooke de mémoire mais pour d autres raisons).

De ce que j'ai compris de l'entrevue, c'est uniquement Jason FABOK qui indique vouloir rendre hommage à "killing Joke", et ceci d'un point de vue artistique, comme le découpage des planches, ou l'allure de la batmobile, et autres petits clins d’œil esthétiques.

Demain sort Three Jokers #3, et comme je relis Doomsday Clock, théorie : je pense que les 2 sont liés, Johns pourrait totalement expliquer la présence des 3 lorsque Batman pose la question grâce à ce concept de "Metaverse" qu'il développe dans DC... Le Dr Manhattan a pu très bien décaler des événements, par exemple le Joker ne meurt pas lors de sa première rencontre avec Batman etc.
Et comme avec Superman, le Joker apparait pour la première fois à date de sa première apparition comics, à savoir en 1940 (le Joker qui ne sourit pas).
Comme Superman qui a connu plusieurs itérations, toutes sont en continuité grâce à ce principe d'un monde en constante évolution.
Et pour une raison à expliquer dans ce dernier numéro, 3 itérations du perso sont bloqués à la même époque.
Cela expliquerait aussi pourquoi, durant le run de Snyder, certains prétendaient que le Joker était déjà là il y a plusieurs décennies.
Reste aussi la question de savoir "quand" Three Jokers se déroule, mais pareil, dans DC on comprend pourquoi personne ne se souvient de la Justice Society, ici on pourrait voir que Manhattan, un moment, a encore agit sur les évènements (peut être justement durant Doomsday Clock), et que du coup Batman ne se souvient pas avoir demandé à la Mobius Chair qui est le Joker et encore moins sa réponse.

A priori, Three Jokers est en continuité, mais Jay Fabok a annoncé que DC "décidera" si ça l'est selon la réaction des fans après le "choc" du final.
J'aime ton idée de Metaverse, mais j'ai l'impression que Johns va se concentrer sur ce fameux "nouveau Joker" qu'ils veulent créer.
