Franchement, le personnage me désintéresse au possible, le retour de Brock pareil, mais bon sang, ces planches donnent vachement envie. C'est super généreux!
La gargouille est superbe !
Donny Cates me semble être le nouvel homme fort chez Marvel!
Comme NRV, cette nouvelle série de Cates me dirait bien tant il a le vent en poupe.
Je relisais un ancien thread sur Uncanny Avengers, où le style graphique de Stegman était un élément repoussoir. Ce n'est plus le cas ici ?

Ce n'est pas le style que je préfère mais ce n'est absolument pas repoussoir non plus pour moi.
Il a un petit côté McFarlane qui forcément fonctionne bien ici!

Il pourrait avoir cet effet là sur moi. Mais sur ces pages, je ne sais pas pourquoi, ça m'apparaît comme bien plus positif que d'habitude.
Peut-être une adéquation entre son style et l'ambiance "monstrueuse" voulue sur Vénom. Ca peut jouer.

C'est drôle, je trouve plus une touche de Quesada qu'une touche de McFarlane dans ces planches.
Quoi qu'il en soit, ça m'intéresse.

C'est souvent la mise en couleur qui affaiblit les crayonnés de Stegman, accentuant son côté MacFarlane, dans le mauvais sens.

Sur cet épisode, il y a une planche qui fait référence à la toile spaghetti de McFarlane mais je prends ça comme un clin d'œil au créateur de Venom. Pour le reste, je suis bien d'accord avec toi ! ;)

J'aime assez le côté très McFarlanien du personnage.
Au moins, on al'impression de lire du Venom, ce qui n'était pas arrivé depuis 2004 quand le symbiote a commencé a passé de mains en mains...
J'exagère un tout petit peu puisque dans le dernier Spider-Man Universe, en VF, en avril, j'avais aussi eu cette impression mais sans le côté McFarlane.
