Le site Marvel Masterworks Message Board lance un grand "sondage" sur ce qu attendent les lecteurs marvel en omnibus.
Ils semblent faire cela chaque année et certains suggestions se sont retrouvées (par chance?) publiées l année d'aprés. Cette année, ils veulent un maximum de participants et donc on peut voter par mail:

Ladies, Gentleman, Ruffians, and Scoundrels;

The more votes we get, the better our sample---heck if we get enough votes to merit it, I would be willing to do a Top 100.

Please be as specific as possible in your choices... If you want a Black Panther Omnibus make sure you make it clear that you mean either Kirby's, Priest's, or Hudlin's run, or maybe you meant Jungle Action. Be as detailed as you can in your votes unless you feel it is self explanatory. Dont say Peter David's Hulk, the man wrote it for nearly two decades. Please break it down by issue numbers and/or long running artist if applicable. Any book that was previously licensed by Marvel is eligible for voting as are defunct lines (Epic) and purchased properties (Crossgen, etc.)

Most importantly, this is a SECRET ballot, do not post your complete list on the thread as it does take the fun out of it a bit. If you would like to nominate something that did not make the TOP 50 last year so it jogs people's memories, I will allow for that.

Il n'y a qu'à voir les omnibus Master of Kung Fu qui sont à 125$ pièce et pourtant j'avais dit il y a longtemps que je prendrais le jour ou Marvel se décidera à faire une compile ! Mais à des prix pareils, comme pour les Masterworks d'ailleurs à 75$.

Les MOKF tu les trouves rapidement à 60-70€ chez book depository, amazon ou cheap comics par exemple.
J ai les 3 parus et j ai pas dépassé 70€ pour un tome et neuf

Le forum est lié à near mint condition qui passera les résultats à marvel.
Intéressant pour certaines parties sui ne sont pas encore numérisées et sui vont bloquer panini pour les integrales comme kazar, alpha flight, morbius, deathlok, .....
Ou des séries toujours pas compilées comme nomad, les werewolf et manthing version strange tales ou autres

et ça demande des trucs qui ont pas grand chose à faire en omnibus, comme si c'était le format plus que le contenu qui était à la mode:
-Civil War: pour y mettre quoi de plus? Y a déjà un Absolute non?
-Spider-Man par Michelinie et Bagley: c’est pas vraiment un run cohérent, Micheline change pas sa manière d'écrire par rapport à Larsen et McFarlane, et je crois que la saga du Clone vient casser l'indépendance des séries à ce moment.
-Dardevil par Nocenti: ça tient pas en 1 omnibus (plus de 50 épisodes), ou alors il faut préciser plusieurs volumes comme Avengers de Stern

En regardant les discutions sur Tapatalk ...

les choix sont un peu.. bizarre...

(je reviens sur le DD by Nocenti) - Il existe déjà en Epic, mais ils semblerait que ca ne suffise pas à certains lecteurs qui veulent du HC, Oversized (et ils ne parlent que des épisodes de JrJr, pas du début du run)

Les Hulk de Mantlo on y arrive en MMW (ou ils sont commencés)

Bcp des trucs récent existent en TPB (et ca suffit largement -- je ne voit aucune raison d'un Oversized en HC pour la majorité des titres)

Je suis déçu que le Romnibus recule tous les ans dans la liste
et les AF de Mantlo (puis ceux de Hudnall) méritent d'être redécouverts ... (même si j'ai 99% des épisodes -- il me manque la fin de Hudnall -- un Epic , ou MMW serait pas mal pour avoir un papier et une tenue qui tienne le temps)

Il y a ceux qui se servent du vote pour attirer l attention de Marvel sur des periodes non reeditées
Il y a ceux qui s en servent pour des omnibus non déjà débutés
il y a ceux qui adorent les omnibus et demandent même le prochain xmen qui sera de toute facon publié

Je relis les AF de MANTLO ! Je déchante sérieusement ! C'est verbeux, ca n'a pas de grande direction, le line-up change tous les 3 épisodes. C'est con parce qu'il y a de très bonnes idées et une envie de le mettre dans l'horreur ! Mais clairement mal exécuté ! Les placards de textes sont horribles ! Et Talaoc bouffe tous les dessins de tout le monde !

Il y a 2 périodes au run de Mantlo .. du 39 au 50 (Dave Ross et June Brigman)ou l'équipe est stabilisée et ils vont être décimés, jusqu'à quitter le contrôle gouvernementale..

puis du 51 à la fin, avec Jim Lee

de la reprise au 39 la série se cherche et surtout à du mal a trouver un lectorat.
Talaoc n'est pas forcément le mieux pour une série de Super, mais est parfait sur de la guerre (horreur , moyen)

Je rappelle pour les lecteurs VF que panini ne peut rééditer des séries qui ne sont pas numérisées par Marvel.

Des intégrales comme Wolverine et Xfactor ont été bloquées Alpha Flight (attente du run de mantlo), Morbius (attente de la série des 90's) et Deathlok, Spectaculat spiderman, Punisher, Silver Surfer pourrait l'être.

12ème Annual Most Wanted Marvel Omnibus

Pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le format omnibus, je rappelle que ca peut permettre de rendre des séries dispo en numérique ou dans un autre format.
Pour les lecteurs VF, je rappelle que les intégrales Alpha Flight, Spectacular Spider-man, Web of Spiderman ou Morbius sont bloquées et que Punisher, Genaration X, Excalibur ou Xfactor pourraient l'être.
Il y a aussi des séries non dispos tout court ou presque comme Punisher War Zone, Punisher War journal (hors Jim Lee et Buscema ou l arc de kubert), Nomad, les séries stranges tales des 90's...
Pour ceux qui aiment les omnibus mais font de la VF, seuls deux omnibus VF n'existent pas en VO. Il vaut donc mieux qu'un omnibus existe en VO pour arriver en VF.

Bref il suffit de voter pour ses 10 préférés.. on vous demande votre nom sur youtube à la fin. vous pouvez mettre aucun ou none ou ce que vous voulez.

Le vote est toujours transmis à Marvel. Et chaque année une grande partie du top finit par sortir (est ce du au vote ou était ce prévu? ca vaut toujours le coup de dire qu'on attend des arcs, runs ou séries..)

Les DD de Nocenti, je les ai acheté à leur sortie (en issues), et ils existent en EPIC.

Alpha Flight de Mantlo c'est bien que ce soit toujours présent. (ca forcera peut être la Marvel / Disney)

The Nam serait intéressant (les 12 premiers avaient été reliés, pas le reste - j'ai la quasi totalité des 40-45 premiers épisodes) - et vu le succès du Vietnam Journal (en France en tout cas)..et que, en plus, Lomax termine la série The Nam...

GI Joe et Transformers arrivent chez Image (mais Omar le signale durant le direct)

Indyana Jones, à lire, et à mon avis l'année prochaine ALF passera dans le top 50.

J'ai suivi aussi hier soir avec la plaisanterie de mettre Alf numéro 1 ( j'y ai cru et ne comprenais pas ce choix 🤣 ). Autre chose que je ne comprends décidément pas, c'est de réclamer des omnibus dont le contenu existe déjà en epic ou Masterworks ! 🤷*♂️🤷*♂️ C'est vraiment juste pour une question de collection dans un format précis ? Le DD de Nocenti est une super période mais c'est déjà disponible alors quel intérêt ?? Sinon, mon chouchou Alpha Flight vol.2 est 11ème c'est encourageant mais le vol.3 n'est pas dans les 60. Quel impact ce classement a-t-il ? Car ils disent que l'an dernier, Alpha Flight vol.2 était arrivé 7ème et ce n'est pas pour ça qu'il est sorti. Bref, je ne me fais pas de plan sur la comète avec cette 11ème place...
