Dans une interview accordée à Bleeding Cool (http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/05/01/stan-sakai-at-stumptown-rabbits-ronin-alien-sushi/), Stan Sakai dévoile pas mal de ses futurs projets.
Quelques moments croustillants à retenir:
L'auteur confie qu'après 28 ans qu'il a encore la passion pour faire vivre Usagi Yojimbo. Actuellement il plante des sub-plots qui auront leurs résolutions d'ici environ cinq ans. Parmi ces histoires il y aura le mariage de la samouraï Tomoe Ame.
Il ne cesse de s'intéresser à la culture féodale japonaise, aujourd'hui encore il découvre des choses qui font que sa source d'inspiration ne s'est pas tarie.
Il aime vraiment dessiner des dinosaures de l'espace, une nouvelle mini Space Usagi est envisageable.
En parallèle de Usagi Yojimbo il travaille sur une adaptation du fait historique qui a donné la légende des 47 Ronins (pour plus de détails sur cette histoire je vous renvoie à sa fiche wiki (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/47_r%C5%8Dnin)). Les personnages ne seront pas des animaux mais des êtres humains, Kazuo Koike de Lone Wolf and Cub sera même conseiller sur le projet. Le tout sera en couleur et Sakai ne fera même pas son lettrage lui-même! Due à l'entente entre Dark Horse et Universal qui date de The Mask un film est en préparation avec Keanu Reeves, avec bien sur des nuances dans les scénarios des deux adaptations. 47 Ronins sera une mini en 5.
Enfin avant de reprendre l'ongoing Usaji, Stan Sakai va le faire combattre les Tripods de la Guerre des Mondes le temps d'une mini. Une mini dans l'esprit des imaginary stories de Superman dans les années 50.

Now that Knockabout has won the rights to distribute The Black Dossier in the UK, it seems that it has also won the rights to publish the League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen vinyl record as well. Though for whatever technical reasons exist, this will only be made available through the Knockabout co-owned Gosh! Comics in London.
A seven inch doo-wop single by Eddie Enrico and His Hawaiian Hot-Shots, with Alan Moore singing as the fictitious version of Elvis. Eddie Enrico appeared with his Hong Kong Hot-Shots in the Thomas Pynchon novel, Vineland. Looks like this may be an earlier performance for the crew.
The two songs Immortal Love and Home With You can only be bought in this form, and only from Gosh, free with the hardcover edition of Black Dossier (£22.50) but not the softcover (£14.99).
There are no mail orders being made available on this record. You will have to go to the store. You are also able to pay in advance and pick up a month from publication.
Gosh is now on Berwick Street, famed as a home for many vinyl record sellers, and featuring on the cover of Oasis’ Definitely Maybe for that reason. It seems rather appropriate that this is where the League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen vinyl will be sold. They also sell vinyl record players, which may also suddenly be in quite heavy demand.

Y'a aussi comics Ming MGMT qui est sorti y'a deux semaines, de Matt King, qui est une tuerie apparemment. En tout cas j'ai chopé le #1, et le premier de Resident Alien aussi que j'avais aimé dans les DHP.
C'est clair que ça fait beaucoup :)

Bleeding Cool understands that three of the eight traditionally distributed covers for The Walking Dead #100 have sold out.
The covers by Todd McFarlane, Sean Phillips and Ryan Ottley have all had their print runs fully allocated to retailers and no more orders will be accepted.
I understand that even with pre-orders of around 330,000 from retailers (including UK sales), a considerable increase of the print run for each cover was planned in readiness for still further increasing orders. But Image Comics and Skybound didn’t plan for this quite so soon.
There are still amounts of the other covers, by Charlie Adlard, Marc Silvestri, Frank Quitely and Bryan Hitch available for reorders.
For now.

N'empêche, quant je vois ce qui est en train de se passer je me dis qu'il faudrait que je revende mes singles pour le racheter les tpbs....je ferais un joli profit rien qu'avec l'#19
Rich Johnston dans le numéro zéro de la version papier de Bleeding Cool donne des cotations des singles de Walking Dead, ça peut donner des idées à des gens en manque de spéculation dans la crise que nous traversons.
