Savage #3 will arrive in stores on Dec. 24 from Image Comics. The issue is written by Jeff Frank, Steve Niles and Dan Wickline, with art and cover by Mike Mayhew.

Here's how Image describes the issue:

"Lost in the woods, his leg savagely wounded by a creature that can't exist, Peter desperately clings to the last shreds of his sanity. Meanwhile, in order for Sam to save an innocent life, he must transform from hunter to monster and fight a pack of bloodthirsty werewolves to the death! This is when the fur really starts to fly..."

Savage #3 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.
