L'"Art" influencé par les comics

Si les artistes de comics books reprenent souvent à leur compte l'imagerie ou le style de grands artistes
(Reprise de la pieta de Michel-Ange, Quesada, Chadwick ... reprenant des scènes et des styles à la Mucha, L'Homme de De Vinci utilisé pour "The Other". etc etc ...)

L'univers des comics à son tour devient une source d'inspiration pour des artistes contemporains.

Sinon un livre est sorti chez Phaidon il me semble, j'aurai bien aimé vous montrer l'immense toile qui montre l'évolution de Thor avec des couleurs criardes et assassines.

Jay Kreimer is an alchemist of hardware stores, surplus catalogs, and discarded objects. He is a musician, sculptor, composer, and inventor of crackpot musical devices. He teaches writing, creative problem solving, leadership and art courses at Doane College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He has played music clubs in the region for a long, long time, and participated in the Mighty Vitamins triumphant parade march in Lucas, Kansas, home of the Garden of Eden. With his wife, the weaver Wendy Weiss, he shows sound/textile/sculpture/video installation art through the U.S. and Canada, with large-scale work in San Francisco and D.C. in 2006.

Dans le domaine de l'art brut se trouvent aussi des artistes influencés par la bd ou les strips.

L'un des plus connus est l'américain Henry Darger. A sa mort, son logeur a découvert dans son appart quinze volumes(!) de 16000 pages parfois recto-verso. Ses personnages favoris sont les vivian girls, des petites filles au sexe masculin qu'il met en scène avec des soldats, le tout à partir d'images découpées dans des magazines, parfois sur des longs panneaux de deux ou trois mètres.
Bon, le Henry avait un sérieux pet' à la cafetière, ses visions étaient dérangeantes. je ne suis pas fan mais son oeuvre est impressionnante. (Il se trouve que j'étais à Lausanne, il y deux semaines et j'ai visité le musée d'Art Brut qui y consacre une salle entière.)

Ça a fait le tour du web mais je sais pas si quelqu’un a déjà parlé ici des amazing peintures sur trottoir en trompe-l'œil de Julian Beever. Incroyable quand même.

Toute proportion gardée, ça me fait penser à certains trompe-l'oeil sur les facades d'immeuble à Bruxelles (moins saisissantes, mais toujours sympa à découvrir au détour d'une rue).

Rue du bon Secours, il y a une superbe fresque de Ric Hochet qui utilise le trompe l'oeil.
